    Nah, being honest, I don't mean you. You respect other people's opinions and don't claim people have 'bad taste' or are 'wrong'. You're one of my favourite posters. Of course, some people deserve that attitude, but imo being a critic and a music fan can be different in some ways

    I really hate people who allow others to dictate their opinions. Like, just because you're friends with somebody who hates something doesn't mean you have to hate something too. Be your own person and have your own thoughts, because a lack of individuality is really f---ing annoying.

    Not really. Most people are fair. It they're being a d-ck they're mostly right. Except for some people who do it for no reason. And the other way around it's the same. If you like something, who cares if somebody else doesn't? You shouldn't be ashamed to like something (subjectively)

    Edit: to use @Narsh as an example. He loves yt, but doesn't act like a d-ck if someone else doesn't (if that person backs up their opinion). He also doesn't get on the eminem hate bandwagon. He agrees that he fell of like most sane people, but also praises the good things he does (like mmlp2 songs he called great).

    I remember back on SL I was always worried to post because people were just all judgmental d----s. It's definitely better here, but I do believe people shouldn't belittle somebody for what they like.

    @KnobodyKnows agree completely. But I wonder how the line is between being a critic and a fan, serious question to music critics btw. Do you look at music differently as a fan and as a critic?

    I fancy myself a critic of theatre and film, and I definitely don't take the opinions of people who like Adam Sandler films seriously, but that doesn't mean I make them feel like s--- about what they like (unless they attack me for liking what I like).

    But I personally never take any critic that generalizes about anything seriously..like that Adam Sandler comment. Actin like he was never great :beli:

    Adam Sandler has made two-three decent films and the rest are essentially horrible. Sandler is a cancer on the film industry. What's even worse is he brought along the rest of his s-----y SNL friends and they pollute the film industry with their horrible comedy films too.
