    Holy s---. I never realized Screw laid verses. I’ve heard this song too but my dumb a--- never realized that was him rapping.

    I need to revisit all those albums and mixtapes from the 90s. Fat Pat, Big Moe, Big Hawk, 5th Ward Boyz, etc. Whenever I go that far back, I just listen to the classic songs. I need to do a dive into the deeper album cuts from back then. There are probably so many hidden gems I’m missing out on.

    Have you come across any other songs where he raps? Not gonna lie, he sounds pretty good for a DJ!

    Yeah I highly recommend going back and listening to some of the classic SUC projects in full. So many good ones. DEA, Ghetto Dreams, Don’t Mess Wit Texas, and City of Syrup just to name a few.

    And nah that’s the only song I’ve come across with Screw rapping

    finally listened to the posse-cut off r.a's last album (yeah i'm late) and it's so fun hearing those little verses full of nostalgic references by legends

    i don't know who recently said carter 1 was criminally underrated on here, but I wholeheartedly agree, it aged d--- well, it may even surpass C3...

    have you noticed that it's almost exactly the same beat as this other well-known scrapped song from the Tron soundtrack?



    I guess they're actually demos of the instrumental final version
