Jan 31, 2015 I don't think it's likely from the singles/snippets/features we've heard in the past year or so (I is a good song with a gr8 message imo) I feel like Kendrick is at the point Eminem was in 2000, or Kanye was in 2007, aka his prime/apex. I also think if Kendrick was just "phoning it in" with an album of singles without a cohesive narrative or theme, we would have heard this album last year.
Feb 3, 2015 That was a dope read, but i think its nearly impossible for kendrick to make a bad album right now. Expectations could f--- with peoples perception of the album though. Everyone is expecting something better than gkmc, so if it falls below that people might be disappointed
Feb 4, 2015 tbh its gonna be better than gkmc. He seems to be focused. And for a lot of Professional critics, "i" is one of the best songs he has ever released (k... maybe you enjoy other songs more but we're talking "quality" right here, s--- has nothing to do with personal preference)
Feb 4, 2015 Dun worry, it's cool to like Kendrick right now. [prediction]Regardless of how this album sounds - people will label it a classic.[/prediction]
Feb 5, 2015 As long as he stays creative and hungry, works mainly with his TDE-production crew and leaves out unnecessary collabs, his new album will be at least great. Plus, the fact that they won't release Multiply as a single and that it won't be on the album is a clear indiciation that K. Dot has something even better to show us. If his new album really sucks (I have absolutely no doubt that it will), we still have a lot of great tracks to listen to.
Feb 5, 2015 if his new album sucks i will probs jump on sectioneighty.com to post an angry sentence or two about it.
Feb 8, 2015 He's been improving steadily since kendrick lamar ep, as long as he stays on point then this album will be a classic.
