Feb 11, 2017 SSLP is honestly the only one I can sit through all the way as an adult -- it was back when he was actually funny, had that nasally voice/flow, and it had pockets of serious moments like "Rock Bottom" so the cartoonish storytelling songs didn't get too stale. And when he was serious you actually felt for him, it's not melodramatic like TES on on. MMLP has a few more duds but is pretty good too, but my god it's impossible to listen to TES front-to-back 15 years later.
Feb 11, 2017 SSLP hand's down. I remember the first time i heard it. At the time i had never heard anything like it.
Feb 11, 2017 ^ I second these replies... SSLP is definitely my favorite of the trilogy.. it's funny to me when people try excluding it from being classic while it's his best
Feb 11, 2017 The Eminem Show is the best album ever. I have never enjoyed an album soo much in my life. I can easily sit thru it without skipping a track anytime. Same goes for SSLP and MMLP too. Other albums of his are kinda depends on the time I'm listenin' the mood I'm in etc. But he is definitely one of the best rappers.
Feb 12, 2017 MMLP: Technical, dark, Mc lyrical flow wise, wordplay, Story telling, more underground, the best of crazy Slim Shady!, classic. TES: Political, lyrical controversy, laid back prime Em with 10/ 10 smooth lyrical flow, story telling, more mature Marshall. Also, Classic! Overall both albums are a 10/10 equally equivalent in my opinion.
Feb 15, 2017 Is this the proper place to talk about how creepy Mockingbird is? It's something that's been kinda bothering me lately
