I haven't noticed too many bugs with Yosemite personally with my machine but I know a lot of people have complained about them. So there is a bug when you click on the folder in icon view it doesn't show up?

yeah it's the damnedest thing. it just opens a blank folder window and you can't do anything. if you switch from another app/window into the empty finder window it will fix it maybe 1/50 times but other time you just have to restart finder which works maybe 1/10-1/5 times, other than that you just gotta use a different view

Now that you mention that I have seen that glitch then. I like exclusively use icon view too and when that happens it pisses me off. It usually works if I close it and open it back up. Doesn't happen that often. I like the overall look of Yosemite a lot more than Mavericks tho, way more modern/clean/fresh

Maybe you're running a computer that doesn't work well with the update, both operating systems are fast & responsive on my Macbook Air & iPhone.

I saw the icon bug on my mid 2010 Mini, but I haven't ran across that on the Retina Macbook Pro I just got. Perhaps it's a bug on older hardware? I personally love continuity and starting an e-mail and then finishing it on another device. I think that's bad a---.

I've also had only one issue with iOS 8, and that was 8.0.1 when Apple pushed out the update that stopped all cell service. Otherwise, I think iOS8 is pretty solid.

I've had the same Dell PC since 2002. It's unbelievably slow. Takes a half hour just to get it up and running. 45 minutes to post a status on facebook. Now that I have a smartphone my computer has been rendered virtually useless. The only thing I use it for now is burning CDs, and I only do that maybe five times a year.

I probably should've upgraded years ago but like I said I just do everything on my phone now. I can literally check anything online anywhere in a split second. So I don't see a reason for a new home PC.

ive got that new ASUS Gaming laptop the G751J, i was gonna get the new Alienware but the 1500 bucks for the ASUS compared to the 2000+ of the Alienware made my decision for me.

    1024GB Hard Drive
    AMD Radeon HD 8510G graphics

    Touchscreen

I got it for $558 off Amazon, so far it performs just as good as a Macbook....just can't handle games with amazing graphics.

was thinking of going the mac route but i went with a custom build instead, allows for upgrades down the road.

    i7-4790k
    16gb ram
    SSD
    GTX 970

im gonna make it a hackintosh eventually.
