After my annoyance with my Pixel 6 Pro and debating if I want to get an iPhone I ended up getting the Pixel 7 Pro instead.
Came with a free Pixel Watch (apply after 2 weeks and receive within 2 months from there so I'll have the watch by the end of the year).
Plus my Pixel 6 came with a Chromebook so I'm now (or at least soon to be) completely immersed in the Google ecosystem. Might as well throw away Alexa now and get a Google Assistant and a Chromecast.
Back on topic, the P7 is everything the P6 should've been. It doesn't seem hugely different but it behaves so much better. Much quicker charging, I'm not reaching for a charger 6 hours later and the camera is amazing.Ordinary Joel, Ripper Roo and Worm like this. - Nov 22, 2025

Got the 12 pro max last year, first time I've owned a larger phone and tbh I'd never go back. Having that screen real estate is too niceOrdinary Joel, Ripper Roo and FiveOh1 like this. -

Iphone XR but i could be also fine with the iphone6 probably. There are not too many apps i am actually using. Mostly calls, messages and gps. And for Wordle sometimes, together with this thing https://word-finder.com/words-that-end-in/eth/, called word finder/generator.Last edited: Oct 9, 2022Ordinary Joel, FiveOh1 and Evad like this. -

yeah i have the p6p. the battery is meh, and charging time takes forever. P5 was much better minus the camera. But mine doesn't lag at all, performance wise it's good for me at least...also helps if you don't crack the screen

pissed there's no iPhone 14 mini. the industry's f----- for strictly putting out phones that don't fit in your hand, pocket, or ergonomical standards
I waited 7 years to upgrade from SE to 12 mini. Strapping in for the long haul again.Ordinary Joel, poopdogg and Guma like this. -

Had it 3 weeks and I've already cracked the screen. Obviously got a case on it.
Find that it lags quite a lot and quite a few times the screen has frozen. And on one occasion the screen was flashing off and on until I fully powered it down.
Plus really, really s--- battery.
I've sworn by Pixels since the original but I'm now genuinely considering switching to iPhone.Ordinary Joel, Wreckless and poopdogg like this. -

iPhone 13 mini. Just because it’s small. I’m the opposite to OP, I love the small phones and everything is huge in todays market.Slyk, Ordinary Joel and poopdogg like this. -

What sorta things are you referring to? Because Apple’s walled garden has opened up a decent amount in the last few years.Ordinary Joel, Chrollo and Ripper Roo like this. -

Ditto. Honestly, my next phone might just be an iPhone. I've had my new phone for a few days now and I have no desire to customise my home screen like I did with previous phones. The straight out the box mentality of the iPhone is looking quite attractive right now.Ordinary Joel, Ripper Roo and hargydon like this.Nov 22, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Yeah I used to have a hobby of trying new phones out, rooting them etc. but the fad eventually faded & now I just seek the easiest outcome.
Apple longevity seems to be stronger than ever with constant updates for around 4 year cycles at minimum mostly because their processors are so much ahead of what’s needed at the release dates. So even if your battery goes, a quick replacement should bring it back to competing with the best of mid-range android phones 2/3 years later. It also makes buying a previous generation one very reasonable from price to future proofing.Ordinary Joel, Ripper Roo and icecube like this. -

2 very different operating systems. Both have pros and cons compared to each other so ultimately it's about how it fits with your lifestyle.
And the ecosystem around it I guess. I know a lot of iPhone owners who have Apple watch, iPad, MacBook etc so even if they wanted to move to Android they couldn't.Ordinary Joel, Ripper Roo and poopdogg like this.Nov 22, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -
