f---. Man I've seen soooo many concerts that I'm sure I can't remember them all. I'll try to list them though.
I'm my 20's:
Eminem x4
50 Cent x5
Xzibit x2
Snoop & Pharrel
Lil Jon
Obie Trice x2
Cypress Hill
The Game x2
Pharoah Monch
Chingy
Jadakiss
Kanye West x3
Jay Z
Will Smith
Ice Cube
I was front row for most of those and slapped hands with Em, Kanye, Jadakiss, 50 and Snoop. Lil Jon poured tequila in my mouth and I was able to get on stage with The Game.
In more recent years:
Eminem again
50 Cent again
Ice Cube again
Snoop again
Nas & Wu Tang
Kendrick x2
Dre, Snoop & Eminem
Out of those I met 121 Snoop and Ice Cube and I had dinner with 50 Cent along with about 15 other people.
The best gig I've ever been to though was the Dre, Snoop & Eminem gig in London. It was only last year and there were less than 500 people there. It was all corporate sponsors so I was one of the very few people there who were actual diehard fans. That was a pure bucket list and "life completion" moment for me right there.
I've probably missed a few but I've been to some great concerts!Ordinary Joel, Wreckless, TimmyT and 4 others like this. -

I've seen
Kendrick
Danny Brown
Saba
Mobb Deep
Playboi Carti (not sure it was really him though)
Jurassic 5
Kendrick put on the best show, probably because the crowd was huge and there was more money for the production etc it was the d--- tour. Danny brown and Saba were really good, and didn't use mic assist.
Carti was so bad to the point Im convinced it was a stage double
Not many rappers come to this side of the world, and half of them get their Visa denied lmao.Ordinary Joel, TimmyT, Michael Myers and 4 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Excluding local rappers, Em is the only one i've seen live in 2011.
The performance was good, aside from a few mic issues when Royce came out.
I think bands are better liveOrdinary Joel, Michael Myers, Allis Mines and 3 others like this. -

seen Eminem in London 2018 however only managed to get a seated ticket which was super far back so didn't feel like I got the full experience
also seen Rome Streetz, Conway and Pusha T live, Pusha's energy was unmatched imo
Also got tix to see Kendrick live this summer in LondonOrdinary Joel, Michael Myers, Yeez and 2 others like this. -

the best one was probably DMX. he had a lot of energy (as you would expect lol) and was just a good performer. the last song of his set was of course ruff ryders anthem and during the song he stood on top of a speaker that was in the air (not easy to explain) while rapping.
honorable mentions would be jay electronica and big daddy kane. when i saw jay electronica he brought a bunch of people ON STAGE with him when performing exhibit C and i was one of them because i was close enough to get on stage. it was wild and one of my most memorable concerts momentsOrdinary Joel, DKC, Michael Myers and 1 other person like this. - May 2, 2025

Actually man, you might be the perfect person to give some more suggestions for the rest of my trip as I seem to remember you're quite extensively travelled through the states.
From Nashville grabbing a car and heading home into Kentucky for a couple of nights, then driving south through the Smokies for 2nts. Then heading east and driving down the coast through Charleston, Savannah and St Augustine. Then I'm doing a 3nt cruise to he Bahamas, then just staying on cocoa beach for a couple of nights before flying home.
Things I'm keen to do is a bourbon trail in Kentucky, a steam train ride in the Smokies, drink craft beer on Asheville, a night time ghost tour in SavannahOrdinary Joel, DKC and Worm like this. -

Jay & Kanye (2012)
J Cole (2013)
Eminem x2 (2013; 2014)
Kendrick x3 (2015; 2017; 2022)
The Weeknd x2 (2017; 2023)
Dave (2021)
Best: Jay & Kanye, Em (2014), Kendrick (2017), Weeknd (2017).
All amazing shows. Hard to pick a fav from this list because they were so good in different ways but I'm leaning towards WTT (was my first ever concert at 17 y/o and was an incredible experience).
Worst: Dave, Weeknd (2023). These shows weren't bad as such but compared to the rest were nothing special.
Dave is a great rapper and has some bangers but felt like his stage presence wasn't really there when I saw him.
The Weeknd show in 2023 was in a jam packed arena where visibility was poor and too many people.
Thread has made me realise I need to see more shows dammit!Ordinary Joel, DKC and Minato like this. -

I have seen Yelawolf live a couple times due to his SLUMFEST festival he was putting on in Nashville every year, and I saw him at The Ryman as well. Those SLUMFEST concerts were nuts lol, I was like 11-12 years old watching all these people mosh to songs from Trunk Muzik.
I unfortunately have not seen many rap artists live, because a handful of my favs just don't come to Nashville! Travis had his Utopia tour in Nashville though and oh my god, probably top 5 nights of my life. Amazing concert and a dream concert. So glad I was able to go.
This year however, I do get to see Carti live at The Weeknd tour and this summer, I am travelling to see Tyler! Both concerts are going to be amazing and I cannot waitOrdinary Joel, Michael Myers and DKC like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I also had tickets to Nicki x Future but last minute they replaced Future w Juice Wrld so I asked for my money back and got it lol. I wanted to see Future.
I wanna see Kendrick live when he returns and some others.
All shows I've been too were f---ing great but the WTT one... Jay/Kanye. It was EPIC! So that one.Ordinary Joel, Koke and DKC like this.
