No he doesn't have a point and if by this point in your life you're still using other people's numeric values in place of actual reasoning you probably shouldn't have joined a forum

I'm not trying to make you like the album lol, its music and music is all about feelings and personal tastes. I'm just saying you shouldn't expect tpab to get less praise because all the praise for tpab is about the quality of the music, its not hype. Musicians ain't here saying its goat because its acclaimed, they're actually analyzing it and s---.

tbh... Also a universally acclaimed album has never got revisited to the point where people started to say it wasn't as good as people thought it was. It has never happened.

If anything, all the critically acclaimed albums remain acclaimed and end up being classics, all of them.

TPAB is a fantastic album but there's definitely flaws to be found and his fans (like you) hype it as the second coming of jesus (don't 4get to giv him money 2deep4me)

You don't have to study a genre's entire history, even a rudimentary glance at jazz would show the s--- is dope but everyone who praises tpab pretends they're a music theory professor when if they were asked to comment on any album other than regurgitating critical praise for TPAB they'd go hushmode

He wouldn't quite flop. But Eminem's shock value wouldn't be anywhere near as effective as it was back in 99.

Let's not further derail what used to be a good thread with TPAB please

I think Nas probably would've flopped today, his flow is very reliant on swing which is pretty much non-existant in most contemporary rap

You can find flaws in every album, because music is subjective. But from a critical standpoint, some things just don't hold any weight so I assume it is near flawless in that sense.
