Also the top 3 manufacturers of this vaccine are all US based - all apart of the same rat race. Like I said in a different thread I'll take the Australian university's vaccine when that's ready as it's working really well after they decided to drop their original vaccine for not being good enough. Much more trust in that over 3 billionaire gigantic us companies ensuring their product made in the land of president dementia and President Trump, is safe.Ordinary Joel, DKC and 0 likes like this. -

I wanted to not be part of the problem. To protect the people I love around me. So we could finally end quarantine.

The COVID-19 vaccines have their own reactogenicity, which was assessed in the clinical trials that put these vaccines through their paces. We now have some real-world data on both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s, published a few days ago in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The numbers are in keeping with what was reported for the trials themselves, with an average of 70-75% of people reporting some sort of injection site reaction, usually pain. More reactions, either local or systemic, were reported after the second dose compared to the first one, and more people reported side effects when they received the Moderna vaccine compared to Pfizer’s. Meanwhile, older adults reported fewer side effects than younger people.
The COVID vaccines will not give you COVID, just like the flu vaccine does not transmit the flu. The redness, fatigue and fever that can accompany vaccination are signs that our immune system, intricate and marvellous, is on guard for us.

Had one shot of Moderna. No issues apart from a dead arm but I have my second shot on Saturday and I’m not looking forward to it from what I’ve heard.Ordinary Joel, Mudkip and Altereagle416 like this. -

The differences between Moderna & Pfizer are negligible. Similar efficacy, 2 rounds, you might feel like s--- the day after one or both of the shots.
Hydrate the day before, of, & after and you're more likely to be in better shape.Ordinary Joel, Mudkip and asvdawg like this. -
