Nov 18, 2015 Same I was going to hs in different city and didn't know anyone, when I began my freshman year. So I had to get to know people. Most of them already knew each other so I was one of the few ones that didn't have any friends. I went from being one of the most hated to one of the regular ones. So I guess it was okay. I have good memories from that period of my life.
Nov 18, 2015 I also graduated this year. I kept the same couple of friends throughout high school, but I made a good amount of acquaintances as well. Never really went to parties cause my friends seemed to always end up in f----- up situations when they went out lol. They would get in soo much trouble with their parents all the time, and my dad is terrifying when he's mad. I always figured it wasn't a good idea, until senior year when my dad asked why I didn't go to parties and called me boring
Nov 18, 2015 I was high every second of every day. Half of the school hated me, other half loved me. All of my friends were on drugs like me
Nov 18, 2015 Its weird. But since school & the older ive got i have became more introverted I think its possibly to do with not being eligible for college which means ive missed out on alot. But in school I was outgoing, never once did any homework lol, got suspended 4-5 times, I was also always very big into soccer & been playing since I was 10. A few of my friends got expelled too so the last few years were boring but some funny memories from the first 4 years lol.
Nov 18, 2015 Considering that nowadays I only keep in touch with one of my "friends" from high school, it was pretty useless. Nevertheless necessary, or else high school would have been even more boring.
Nov 18, 2015 Well half way through my freshman year I "fell in with the wrong crowd" started listening to rap and started smoking weed. That pretty much defined my high school career. I was a stoner above all else. Dabbled in pills and alcohol quite often too. And looking back on it now, I truly regret it. The main reason why I did it was because I thought "partying" would help me hook up with chicks. Well it was quite the opposite. All the good looking worthwhile girls were disgusted by "druggies" I was a virgin till my junior year and only had sex with two girls in my high school career. If I could do it over again I would've avoided the drug scene and focused more on socializing, girls, and athletics. I was on the basketball team all four years but never reached my full potential because of the partying s---. As far as the "crowd" I hungout with, I'm only still in contact with two of them and all three of us are drug-free now. The rest of the group got into much worse drugs after high school. Two of them OD'd on heroine and died. And my "best friend" all through middle school and high school is in prison now for running a m--- lab. I haven't spoken to him in ten years. I'm definitely going to use my story as a learning experience for my kids and make sure they don't make the same mistakes I did. I've been completely drug-free for almost six years now by the way.
Nov 18, 2015 Was actually very quiet & shy. Didn't really belong to any particular friend group. Fairly straight edge, never drank or smoked. Played baseball and a lot of video games. Hopeless romantic even though I was scared to talk to girls. College changed me a lot.
Nov 18, 2015 I hung out with ppl who smoked & drank in school I use to always keep watch for them. But every teacher in the school thought I smoked as well even though I would say I don't smoke. I have never been a drinker at all. Just shows u the problem with alotof teachers they have no trust at all.
Nov 18, 2015 I would say I was popular mostly because I used to mess around and get sent out of class. Everyone was cool with me and I f----- with everyone. I fitted in with every social group ect but I only speak to like 3 people from school now
Nov 18, 2015 Pretty great for me. Had a lot of friends but also kept to myself sometimes, similar to what Mano said. Played football & baseball, was good at football but baseball was my sport. Got in trouble a lot, mostly due to ditching class and practice. Always struggled to find that balance between getting my school work done & partying/girls.
