    They're both ahead of their time, but Kanye's aheadness comes from keeping his ear open for people like Young Thug lol. I think of him more like an exceptionally creative curator. Thug's "aheadness" is much more primal.

    i dont care about the beats, we're talking about the artist and genre as a whole

    also, lets not act like the production on yeezus isnt kanye synthesizing the sound of artists like death grips

    i don't hear death grips in it.. i really don't... i've seen that comparison i don't know how many times but i still don't think Yeezus is inspired by it.

    But go ahead and show me the similarities if you can.
