Nov 6, 2015 Well, the sound on I'm in it and on sight are really the same industrial sounds you hear on death grips
Nov 6, 2015 Can you give specific examples.. people really ONLY justify that because it's also glitchy/distorted, but that's not enough reason for me to consider it 'taken from' DG... distortion can be used for many different purposes and emotions..
Nov 6, 2015 Can i say: i LOVE get got. BUT: nah.. aside from the distortion i can't see the similarities. Song structures, subjects and the overall atmosphere don't match a single yeezus track imo. Not even On Sight. Both genius in their own right, i feel both artists don't/can't compete with eachother.
Nov 6, 2015 @Narsh do you have examples of thug songs that isn't on a trap beat -or similar- ... like Good Times? I don't dislike trap sounding beats at all but with thug I do find the production a little too similar sometimes. Doesn't take away credit from him tho
Nov 6, 2015 tbh never thought i could like thugger heard him on one song but then i heard barter 6 and i ju raw is so goooooood
Nov 8, 2015 d---.. I guess I do prefer him over other beats then. Are there more? Love these 2 (already knew paradise)
Nov 8, 2015 i mean there will be more distinct examples in the future, but even his regular producers dont always emulate a standard trap sound:
Nov 8, 2015 same lol i thought it was a--- when i first checked out thug. i thought danny glover was weird/boring. i thought stoner was generic all false. 2 cups stuffed was the first song i f----- w just cause of the energy
