Dec 21, 2015 Admirable goals from most of you. Righg now all I'm looking at is graduating the end of this school year and finding my own place, already have a full time job lined up to start once I graduate. Just want to live a simple life tbh, go to work and then go do things I want, hunt, fish, play sports, all that. Just gonna see where life takes me after I graduate though.

Dec 21, 2015 Sorry I'm still catching up in this thread, but you don't have to start off playing your own music. DJing is probably a good way to get into the scene which will then get people to be interested in your music. You gotta take chances. Do s--- on a whim. Bruh I have no idea what I'm doing writing/editing. After spending weeks applying for jobs with lots of forms and cover letters and writing samples to send in and such I applied for one offhand via a recruitment agency where all I had to do was submit my resume. Out of all the ones I spent hours on, I had two phone interviews and heard nothing back after that. I got a call back on the easy one I applied for as an afterthought and now I have a job in my field. Back in january, I randomly PM'd hasman before I knew him saying I was interested in writing for the blog. Other than some track-by-track reviews I wrote when I was 19-20, I'd never written an album review before. Two months later I had To p---- A Butterfly in my inbox. I still don't know what the f--- I'm doing. It's not always gonna happen like that, but it's not gonna happen at all if you don't put yourself out there.
Dec 21, 2015 this is exactly how i feel. there are other things i would love to do, but ill probably just end up taking the safe route :/ ill probably try for business or real estate and raise a family, etc. good luck with school man.

Dec 21, 2015 I'll be graduating high school in June. As of right now, no college. I might go to trade school down the line but I'm gonna be working for the first few years after graduation.
