Dec 21, 2015 I would love to have a job that combines law enforcement and psychology. Right now I (almost) finished LE and started doing psychology, for a while now. So I hope that works out eventually

Dec 21, 2015 Optimism can get you far, you sound defeated. Im sure there's a big town within a 60 mile radius from u. Go to it, if you feel itd be beneficial. If you dont have a car get a friend to drive you. if you dont have a friend pay someone to drive you, if you have no money to pay them ride ur bike. If the weathers bad that day wear a f---in poncho....you get my point. Theres always a way, you just gotta figure out how much u want it. I once walked across town in freezing cold weather in a short sleeve tee cus i had a girl i thought i could get p---- from that night. Almoat caugh pneumonia cus i wanted that vagina so bad. I coulda said, ehh ill wait to see if tomorrow is a bit warmer or if i can get a ride or i find another girl nearby but i wanted that one. If u like music as much as i like p---- you can do it. (Ps i didnt get p---- that night, but at least i know went for it. I ended up getting it at another time tho so its cool) Also, always work on perfecting ur craft. Find ur niche and promote urself to a much more specific target audience. If u target 20 people who are interested in ur type of music thatd a lot better than shoutin check out my mixtape fam to thousands of random people. I know this is all much easier said than done, but u really have to go for it if you want to do this. Therell always be hundreds of reasons to not do something.
Dec 21, 2015 I'm being realistic and stating things as they are. Optimism can only get you so far when stuff isn't working in your favor. Just going to a town isn't going to do anything if I don't know who to talk to or where to go in it. Also, being that the only big city around here that has s--- going on with music is Columbus, it's not possible to just go, it'd be a 4 hour-ish bike ride there and another back. That's not doable for something on a whim with no idea what to do once there. I don't know how to do this

Dec 21, 2015 I asked you how to connect with those people, what would be the best bet for a submission and which site, how to go about submitting, and you never responded. you didn't actually connect me with that second guy in the commercial either, you stopped responding again and if you did send him my info, he never contacted me. as for patrick, I'm not a good fit for what he's doing

Dec 21, 2015 Maybe u are being realistic but ur focusing on the wrong things. Well, find out who to talk to. Go on facebook and find out small electronic performances in colombus. Maybe get in touch with their management find out any info that might be helpful to u. Go to the show socialize with other people there, keep doing this. Once this is done a 4 hour bike ride is nothing. Just letting u know this attitude will get u nowhere.

I have no idea how to utilize what you've given me, and I likely won't unless someone who actually knows s--- about this kind of thing can show me. right now the situation is on the level of buying a 105 year old a computer and then just walking away when they ask you how to set it up and use it. I have no experience with reaching out to people in a formal way like this and no idea how to approach a submission or any of that s---. It's not hand feeding to ask for just a tiny bit more guidance than none.
Dec 21, 2015 Right now I'm working as a sales lead/key holder for Soma Intimates (which is a womens retail store). I really would love to be able to travel the world. but with my career choice that likely wont happen anytime soon.
Dec 21, 2015 Yeahhh, whatever it is keep it. Cus music will never happen for u. You have no real desire to succeed at it. People have given u great advice here and in ca's case apparently even huge opportunities and u refuse to find a way to make it work for u. Its sad really. if ur serious about it, hope u find the will to pursue it seriously tho. Nobody can really help u at this point tho its all up to you.
Dec 21, 2015 You have to realize that no one is obligated to do a g.d. thing for you. Would it be nice of him to help more? Yeah, but he already went out of his way to make the connections for you when he's an adult who works 40 hours a week and has a fiancé and a podcast (and his own interests). You're not the first person he's tried to help, and I know this because he sent me a list of contacts in Seattle as well...the ball's in your court now. You have the Internet at your disposal. There are YouTube videos for tutorials on how to tie your f---ing shoes, im sure there's a multitude of free resources on how to write a formal email. If you truly want something you will do everything in your power to make it happen.
Dec 21, 2015 Are you serious lol? Did you read anything from that giant post of mine or did you completely gloss over EVERYTHING. If I didn't care and didn't want to succeed I wouldn't constantly pour hundreds of hours into a project like I did for the past 8 months, or the 3 months before that, or the couple months I'll most likely be putting into my current project or the one I'm already brainstorming for after that. I wouldn't have paid hundreds in ad campaigns, or tried to submit to blogs, I also wouldn't promote my s--- regularly on different platforms and upload it basically everywhere possible, I wouldn't have reached out to CA in the first place, or being trying to get features to reach more people. I know I wouldn't spend my time bettering my music and combing over it all to try and improve it and make it more accessible and more listenable for other people, I wouldn't do any of this if I had 'no real desire to succeed at it'. No, people have given advice that is either pretty much useless or bad. And as for what CA gave me I took what I could of it and tried to run with it and let it go that I wasn't going to get any more help on that front, and I couldn't get anywhere with it. I can't do anything with the list on my own, so it's not useful. I tried to produce for his friend and it turned out awful, and I never got the chance to work with the other guy because contact was never made. Well aware, but when you ask for help, and then they stop short right when you need it most (leaving you in the same circumstances as when you started), it's sort of frustrating as f---. I have tried that, and I did submit a few things, but it went absolutely nowhere, and my emails were s--- still. I have done literally everything for my music up till this point BY MYSELF, but I'm hitting a limit on that and there are just some things I just can't do. I've never had a way with words, and I had to seriously wrack my brain for the blog submissions and that bio (99% of it I didn't even write because I couldn't). I obviously have really bad communications skills so properly conveying my thoughts for stuff like submissions to people and blogs is near impossible. I need help with this stuff. What about this is not getting through, I don't know, but clearly no one is actually understanding.
