Dec 21, 2015 a) i'm p. sure you've never even heard a full song of mine and b) i'm not sure you know what 'constructive criticism' is
Dec 21, 2015 I have heard all your songs and they lack substance. Your voice sounds lazy and unmotivated. I dont sense any confidence when you're rapping either. That is constructive criticism.. work on those things and maybe I will give you another shot.
Dec 21, 2015 if you're going to try and troll me do some research to see if it actually lines up with the music I actually make before hitting submit on your post
Dec 21, 2015 okay sure, I'm curious so I'll try it out; I'm not too computer savvy but I'll take the challenge. I'll let you know! oh and I haven't gotten around to an acoustic sesh but that's cus im JUST NOW getting over a horrible chest cold that ive had for the past two weeks blah
Dec 21, 2015 definitely, and if you need any more help i can try and offer it. I know at least the basics and I could probably give you several tips/tricks for easier usage of FL/songbuilding you should definitely record some of it sometime when you're feeling better
Dec 21, 2015 @Cyreides Isn't FL more of a beginner's software though? If you're into music and producing shouldn't you start to be using more advanced programs like Reason, Ableton, Pro Tools or whatever else there is? Was wondering if FL is pretty complete as a tool for creating music.
Dec 21, 2015 FL is absolutely complete for producing, it's down to preference. Anything you can do in another program you can do in it. EDIT: woo 5kposts
Dec 21, 2015 Good god this tidbit is inspirational. Some of the big producers still use FL. 9th Wonder for instance.
Dec 23, 2015 - Professionally? I want to be a counselor/therapist. I currently work in the mental health field at a hospital, and I make good money, but I'm going to be heading back to school for my Masters in Psychology. I was also the editor for a New England Patriots site, was the boss of 10 different writers, which paid OK, but I recently resigned. - As far as music (since some of you know) I have done shows in the New England area for the past 5 years, but recently stopped to focus on digital marketing. I used to record, but I always focused on live performances over everything. Over the past year or so, I've really been into recording and experimenting with delivery, flow, and making things sound extremely polished (something I didn't really do before because I always cared more about performing). I have a bunch of connects, and a marketing plan, but in all honesty, I don't really have the drive I used to have. I'm 30, and don't really see the point. I'm probably going to continue with it, but at this age, it seems like a waste of time and money. I feel like my opportunity was missed 3 years ago. I was offered a record contract by Island Def Jam, after a successful performance in front of a large crowd, and let it fall through. I mean, the local scene is great, but it's limited. I used to make decent money selling tickets and performing a few times a month, but it doesn't offer much upside.
Dec 27, 2015 Why don't you ever post anything in the SXN m8, didn't know you did s--- with music at all
