THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOURE DOING BY HAVING A KID IF YOU HAVE A HEREDITARY DISEASE.

ACCORDING TO YOUR LOGIC ALL PEOPLE WITH HEREDITARY DISEASES SHOULDN'T HAVE KIDS AND CAN JUST ADOPT. JUST AS HOW PEOPLE CAN OPT NOT TO REPRODUCE WITH THEIR COUSIN, PEOPLE WITH HEREDITARY DISEASES CAN OPT NOT TO f---

WHAT THE f--- ARE YOU SAYING.

No Ive already addressed this, there's a point of no return with diabetes. Once you have it, that sucks, and it's s-----y, but imo its ok to have a baby. There is no point of no return with cousin-f---ing. At any point you can decide "hey maybe I shouldn't impregnate my family member"

We got onto the topic of whether or not incest is ok

My argument is that its ok as long as it doesnt result in babies

This is called "responding to the topic", which falls under "staying on topic"

but if you get it half way thru life thru ur own bad choices, how is that any different than choosing to have a kid with ur cousin to you? you're doing so many f---ing mental gymnastic to make this s--- work

and at any point you can decide "hey maybe i shouldnt have kids with a heridatary disease i can give them"

    you're f---ing r-----ed sometimes i swear

K so say we have two perfectly healthy adults with minimal hereditary risks right. If they're cousins, and they have babies, they're putting their babies at more risk than themselves. My problem is leaving the kid worse off than yourself.

So if you're already impaired, you really can't help it and should be allowed to have kids, just not with family or while practicing unsafe behaviors like smoking because that's an unnecesary risk you can still prevent

"once you have a crippling hereditary disease, that sucks, but its okay to have a baby roll the dice!!"

"once you fall in love with your cousin, f--- you and your 3% chance of maybe having a baby with varying degrees of birth defects. how dare you just try to bust a nut without considering what that could do to your unborn child you b------!!! just adopt, duhhhh!!!"

gn this has been an utterly r-----ed week @ sec80 smfh

But the fact that there's a percentage at all shows it's scientifically not normal. I understand you're saying it's normal in some cultures and I believe you, but while cultural preference can be debated by different cultures, scientific evidence can not.

Anyway, sorry if you already addressed this, I was hopping pages for the main gist of this thread and stumbled upon this post.

there's a percentage of defects for "normal" births too. the fact there's a percentage at all shows it's scientifically not normal for people to reproduce.

yes you did. you said the parents should adopt instead of having the kid b/c the kid in question might be born with some birth defects. even if those can be as mild as food allergies.
