He was speaking on the percentage HIGHER then scientifically "normal" birth, not the percentage of birth defects in general lol. So I don't quite see your point?

Or as severe as crippling heart problems that could severely impact the wellness of their life.

it's like 3% compared to 6%. That doesn't make it scientific evidence that it's not normal
my point is your not God.

How is that not scientific evidence tho? Just because it's not enough for YOU (even tho 3% is a big difference), doesn't mean it's not scientific evidence that it adds unnecessary risk. This has nothing to do with me putting judgement on anyone, just saying if it was scientifically normal it would be the same percentage as a non-incest birth, no?

It's scientific evidence there's an increased risk. But there's no scientific evidence that would make it not-normal.

Scientifically normal and culturally normal can be and usually are 2 different things. I understand it is culturally normal in some places, I'm just saying science says otherwise. While culturally normal is debated, scientifically normal is not.

What's a scientific norm though? I know about scientific rules / laws. But what about norms? Aren't they essentially cultural?
