If we're talking best pure game...then it has to be gta5. For what the concept of a video game is..having the ability to take control and do whatever you want. Flawless graphics. The attention to detail in every square inch of the map. Seemingly endless entertainment for what it's worth. A titanic map where you can literally do anything and go anywhere. It's essentially life on a playstation. A revolutionary video game.

Have lots of respect for the old games, but I would be lying if I said they stacked up to the top tier games of the last decade or so.

    RDR
    GTA V
    Fallout 3
    The Last of Us
    Mass Effect 2

Just on a completely different level. Have completely redefined what video games can and should be, and it's crazy to think of where we'll be in another decade or two.

I keep trying to tell people that GTA V is an actual groundbreaking earth-shattering game. All people tell me is "but the bugs, but the heists, but the PC release"
they don't understand/realise the amount of effort put into that game, the detail, the graphics, everything. It's gigantic.
"But CoCo X game has better graphics" That game isn't an entire world though and GTA V's graphics aren't far off.
"But CoCo X game has a better story" GTA V is a game, it's not trying to be groundbreaking with storyline twists and turns and 2 hour long cut scenes with in-depth character building. It's a game made purely for entertainment and it's done better than any other game at that.

The fact it had so many bugs on release just goes to show how incredible this game is. It was too big, even for the team at rockstar to account for everything. It pretty much opened the door for next-gen console gaming.

Conflicted. Either MK1 since it was the first game I can recall playing and thoroughly enjoying, Ocarina Of Time because it was mind-blowing back then (still is) Super Smash Bros. Melee cause Action Replay>>>>>> or MGS3. I loved that story.

If we're talking best pure rapper...then it has to be eminem. For what the concept of hip hop is..having the ability to take control and hear whatever you want. Flawless delivery. The attention to detail in every second of an album. Seemingly endless entertainment for what it's worth. A titanic catalog where you can literally listen to anything and feel anything. It's essentially life on a record. A revolutionary artist.

I keep trying to tell people that shady is an actual groundbreaking earth-shattering character. All people tell me is "but the cringeworthy lines, but the accents, but encore and relapse" they don't understand/realise the amount of effort put into his music, the detail, the metaphors, everything. It's gigantic.
"But CoCo X rapper has better songs" That artist isn't an entire vision though and marshall's worst ones aren't far off.
"But CoCo X rapper has better storytelling" Eminem is an artist, he's not trying to be groundbreaking with storyline twists and turns and 2 hour long interludes with in-depth character building. It's rap made purely for entertainment and it's done better than any other popular music at that.
The fact he has so many new haters with every release just goes to show how incredible his game is. It was too big, even for the team at interscope to account for everything. It pretty much opened the door for next-gen hiphop.

I'm actually a bit sketchy when it comes to that.
Bioshock Infinite obviously has the upper hand, but it you group both Bioshock 1, Infinite, and the Burial at Sea DLC (because those three games are one huge intertwined story) it creates a f---ing gagantuan juggernaut of a game. Entirely unrivaled.

Should of changed "CoCo" to "csw621" tho tbh. You know, I gotta give you credit man. No matter how many times people talk s--- to you about your opinions, you still keep them. no matter how much people s--- talk you, you're still here. I'd even say some of your stanning is obsessive, but you're still an alright poster :emoji_thumbsup:

i dont always agree with him, and sometimes his stanning goes a bit too far, but he often has some good points.

I totally agree b, the team behind Bioshock did an astonishing job connecting the two parts story-wise.
What are your thoughts on Bioshock 2 in comparison to part 1 and in general?
