I work at a hydraulics place as my regular day job. I have a lot of side jobs throughout the seasons though, I take care of 8 different lawns, whether it's mowing, weed wacking, mulching, etc etc, in the winter I drive a plow truck to remove snow.
Also befriended a guy who owns all the car washes within a 20 mile radius so when he needs work done there he sends it my way, normally it's just simple repairs in the storage rooms. -

Probably the best thing about it, besides being able to work while listening to music or watching a movie, is that there's no one standing over my shoulder. You don't always have something to do every minute of every day and pretending to have to work when the boss is in the area always sucks.
What sucks though is that everyone knows you work from home so they annoy you after hours. My boss hit me up at 9:30 last night to help with something. It was quick, but annoyingLoyalty, Poohdini, lil uzi vert stan and 6 others like this. -

Estimator at a mechanical contracting company. Basically we renovate the HVAC systems at schools, hospitals, residential buildings, and sometimes industrial. I either get invited by general contractors or owners, get the bid documents (drawings & specs), quantify the duct/pipe and get pricing on the equipment and then add labor hours. I like it because it's different stuff every day/job. Gotta master this then it's on to project management.

Majoring in English to get into a master's program called TESOL. It'll give me a certification to teach English as a second language to adults and children. I do two part time jobs at grocery stores to help pay for tuition and books, and just to take care of myself in general so my parents can spend more on my little sister and give her what she needs. Just trying to make it out of the trap
I might be able to double major in French if I go super hard, if not a minor though.Last edited: Sep 1, 2015 -
