Been a mechanic since high school it's as blue collar as it gets but it keeps the bills payed and puts food on the table. Just started Grad School I'm hoping to start a career in School Psychology, doing an internship/research at the Foundling Center in West Harlem if all goes well I could be starting my career right off the bat once I graduate!
Used to DJ for fun mostly at college parties and I did do a few bars/clubs back then, sort of thinking to go back into it.DKC, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Nori and 3 others like this. -

Web design for a local company in Phoenix. Looking for a better job if they don't give me a good raise next month though, last March I only got 2% and they acted like they were doing me a favor. If the benefits weren't so good I would've left a year ago.
Also been doing websites a lot more on the side lately, about to start my 3rd project of the year this weekend. I'm learning I hate the UI aspect and just want to code. I don't like making mockups, I'm not creative at all.
Also I helped code the site you're looking atOrdinary Joel, lil uzi vert stan, DKC and 3 others like this. -

Graduated with a BA in Psychology back in December, honestly I went to college in hopes of me making it as a professional soccer player but somethings just weren't meant to happen. I'm gonna start grad school in January for a two-year program in School Psychology and see how that goes.
Been working as a mechanic since high school and briefly worked at a Wetzel's Pretzels at this giant mall in NY called the Palisades. Last fall I started my coaching career for soccer and to my surprise I've been blessed with great success this year; 2 different teams and two league titles and I might be planning to go back and assistant coach my high school #3Peat coming soon.Mimi, Pablo, Translucent and 3 others like this. -

Graduated c-m laude () with an English/Communication double major. Super libtard degree but yeah. I bounced around the past year and a half since I graduated trying to figure out what I wanna do. I started off interning as a production assistant at an ad agency while still working my s--- grocery store job from school. Was gonna get hired for real there but some s--- went down at the company and they couldn't hire me, but that was for the best because I don't think it was for me. Did freelance video editing/set audio/PA stuff for awhile as well as some freelance ghostwriting/editing/blogging. Sometime during that I realized I hated doing video as a job so I quit that and also quit my grocery store job for obvious reasons. I just tried and quit things til I found out what I liked.
Currently working as a copy editor full time and also helping my uncle out with a marketing campaign for his A/V company on the side. Might go back to school to get my web dev certificate but we'll see. I like where I'm at right now.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

definitely agree about the benefit of not having people looking over your shoulder tho, my last job I had someone who would literally sit behind me as I worked and watch over my shoulder, no exaggeration. it's not fun putting together a 66 page magazine with someone stopping you every 5 seconds to nit pick
i don't think i'd ever willingly go back into an office environment unless i was the one running it, despite the few negatives i definitely prefer working from homeTranslucent, Deadpool, Guma and 2 others like this. -

there's a social aspect to getting out of the house during work hours and actually going into an office full of people who don't want to be there as much as you. granted I usually hate people I work with but its still something I miss working during the day because I'm usually glued to my work computer in my room 9 hours a day even if it's not 9-5. I do get out during those hours for meetings and s--- but it's not the same as having co workers.Deadpool, Guma, Ordinary Joel and 2 others like this. -
