ehhhhhh this is actually a big sticking point. men often don't believe women who were r---d, or shame/harass/intimidate women who come forward. r--- victims are often told they weren't r---d. feminism has to exist because your paragraph simply isn't true.

first of all, you're using it to describe any women who wouldn't vote conservative. second, you're using it as a pejorative. when you cast people you disagree with as radicals, you marginalize their views, and in this instance, you're doing that to a huge group of people.

No I'm not claiming that. But you posted about the double standard around being hit. You said the law is the same but one is socially unacceptable. You just shrugged it off. You are shrugging off social inequalities that favor women but not the inequalities that favor men. You're not treating men and women equally.

2. You're just being ignorant and creating a strawman. In Canada, 66% of people aren't voting conservative. If you think I'm characterizing everyone in that group as a radical feminist, you're not just wrong, but being stupid,

3. While I am using the term "radical" as a pejorative, pretty much everyone does, left wing or right wing. But there are many feminists who will gladly take the label of being radical. Many famous philosophers both alive today or dead categorized themselves as radicals or radical thinkers.
