Jul 18, 2018 eminem had a big singles and the pop culture set him up who calls g-eazy or macklemore a great and a technical rapper
Jul 18, 2018 cue EminemBase coming in and posting about how Jay Z is a lyrically simple and overrated rapper
Jul 18, 2018 do u think a normal person thinks about "multi-syllables" when they listen to these artists?
Jul 18, 2018 Lmfao ik you were going to say something like This to take a jab at me. If you don’t think nwts is better than 808’s you don’t have the best taste in music.
Jul 18, 2018 Imagine not being able to explaine why because you know that’s a ridiculous assumption. Ye fell off so hard these past few years that it’s going to effect his legacy like Eminem. To where drake hit a BILLION streams with scorpion after views which wasn’t his best project but it’s overrated and has some of the best dance hits of the decade.
Jul 18, 2018 i will never understand how u are a drake stan when just... lemme do sum science listen to the outro this song read this http://thesource.com/2015/02/13/jhe...inspired-eat-the-booty-lyric-from-post-to-be/ then read your signature... then proceed to check yaself, your now a gates stan. u been blessed. im out
Jul 18, 2018 Yes people in my local area usually ask me for new updates on new music and s---. On sl when started from the bottom leaked i was like the first one that had the song banging on campus with people coming in our room asking which drake joint this is. Also Mbdtf was being played the year it was released locally but no one ever brings it up and Kanye is irrelevant now. I had to tell people Kanye had a new album. And to be fair I still listen to yikes some. But regret buying the piece of s---.
Jul 18, 2018 Nowadays nobody thinks about it, but a few years ago it was really common. anyways, people still thinking about rhyming skills at freestyle shows.
Jul 18, 2018 Actually I popped a Valium about an hour ago not an opioid and about to pop another one. Gotta save my hydrocodone for actual pain situations. I’m not allowed to get those every month anymore after being prescribed Valium. And I got a life outside this forum I didn’t “vanish” when big country didn’t back me up. Ik he wasn’t going to. I was seeing if he was still extremely angry at drake, which he still is.
Jul 18, 2018 Did you see Kevin Gates got a tattoo of NBA Youngboy who he became friends with like a month ago? GOAT
Jul 18, 2018 Uh huh. I remember you praising drake on sl and here until the Pusha thing. What about scorpion vs Ye? Was that Kanye 7 track project better? Other than yikes the album might actually be worse than revival.
Jul 18, 2018 him falling off during these "few years" (during which he has dropped 2 albums) has nothing to do with drakes come up and the fact that 808s brought the raw emotion and melodics of rap music to another level
Jul 18, 2018 imagine listening to 808s and not being like "wow this actually touches me and my heart" and then listen to drake like it does
Jul 18, 2018 Lol. Maybe if you’re a Kanye Stan you think this way. But no, you’re factually wrong. The album itself is a 5/10. Put the alcohol down, you clearly can’t handle it.
Jul 18, 2018 im just teasing you like another lads on these forums, i know the conditions are serious and im glad that you are properly medicated to handle them (ive had a benzo description b4) im p sure big country has held a consistent opinion on drake and kanye during the time ive been here
Jul 18, 2018 im quite sure it wasnt.... also, do you think when a person is freestyling hes thinking about all the syllables?? also, quite nice that you mentioned freestyling because you know, context matters.... and being a good at some freestyling gigs doesnt automatically make u a good rapper
Jul 18, 2018 Thinking that Push ethered Drake with adidon doesn't mean I stopped listening to Drake—this is rap beef, I'm not taking sides in a messy divorce or some s---. More Life was one of my favorite albums of 2017 and I still listen to it. I think Scorpion and Ye are mediocre for...actually, pretty similar reasons weirdly enough. Both Drake and Kanye were caught in the midst of PR scandals and both of them kinda ghosted and went into album mode and seemed to promise answers...and neither of them delivered very hard on that promise IMO. I like some stuff from both albums but I felt like there was a lot left to be said from both parties. Drake succeeded more on that note with stuff like March 14, but a lot of the lyrics scattered throughout seem just as hamfisted and last minute as Kanye's ("the only deadbeats is whatever beats I been rappin' to" ). Drake's album falls in the lower-mid range of his discography (definitely better than Thank Me Later, probably better than Views though I'd take the songs I like on Views over most of the stuff on Scorpion). Kanye's album is easily his worst album.
