I'm definitely more left leaning but I've voted republican before and probably will again. I'm not voting for someone I think is a piece of s--- just because they're a democrat when the guy on the other side has better ideas or I just don't think he's as much of a piece of s---. Choosing a party and having to vote for everyone who is on that side is idiotic

No. I’m a centrist as is the vast majority of the party lol. I guess like, define your terms. Biden is absolutely a practical moderate politician who appeals to middle of the road voters (hence his easy trek to the nomination) - maybe bc he’s begun embracing more progressive policies that doesn’t make him a centrist? Like let’s be clear, centrists are absolutely a major camp within the Democratic Party, they have defined it for 30 years lol.

But the idea they deserve to be “publicly shamed” like its some zero sum game - what are you even implying here? What planet are you on with this train of thought

    In regards to your camps-
    1. Plenty of apolitical people indifferent to daily horse trading call themselves “conservative” or whatever bc they equate it with stability and family values. There’s laziness in all corners of the political spectrum and tbh that’s kind of fine?
    2. Again plenty of intellectuals and academics are driving progressive elitism. So like, no.

I legitimately wondered how long this thread would go before that mongoloid Ben Shapiro would be mentioned. Not disappointed!

I’d very much at this point a communist lol. It’s very much the antithesis to a stable & morally sensible US government and it’s atrocities in multiple incarnations across history have wrecked havoc...but, I do genuinely hate the idea of society placing extra emphasis on certain roles and for the abundantly wealthy to have exorbitant amounts of money compared to the rest of the populace.

Wish there was a bipartisan answer to most issues, but politics is simply inherently divisive.

Yeah, with that I agree 100%. As for healthcare stuff I'm on the fence tbh seeing how ineffective is socialized healthcare here (long waiting lines - sometimes you need to wait for years to get something done and some people don't have that much time since their life is at risk, etc.). Also for some rare conditons you don't have a choice and you need to go to USA and pay some large sum of money to get the needed treatment, since they are not able to treat that stuff here. I have family members working in public healthcare so the subject is even closer to me. I would probably search for some hybrid solution if I could.

Can't speak for all European countries but the mainstream left in the USA is closer to what many Europeans would call the center. So by USA standards Enigma would be considered to be far left, but in Europe people would probably consider him closer to the center with a left lean.
