I don’t share that stance on the issue but I feel reasonably certain we can agree that the laws in question which Ben was confronted with, in which a woman in Georgia could be charged up to 30 years for miscarriage or 10 years for going out of state to have a legal abortion elsewhere, is severe to put it mildly.

I agree with you 100 %, that's why I called Poland a land of retardness. People are being brainwashed non-stop. They believe everything they see on TV. Scary tbh.

It's not only that way here. I would say it's pretty common in the world.

If it wasn't done on purpose then yeah, but even if it was 30 years is definitely waaaaaaaaaaay too much. As for abortions I'm pretty okay with current compromise on it in Poland: "Abortion in Poland is illegal except in cases of r---, when the woman's life or any form of health is in jeopardy, or if the fetus is irreparably damaged." In other cases I despise it. Some pro-life people here are against the current form of it, because the main cause of abortions here is detected down syndrome. So they see it as eugenics and kinda rightly so.

I legitimately wondered how long this thread would go before that mongoloid Ben Shapiro would be mentioned. Not disappointed!

I’d very much at this point a communist lol. It’s very much the antithesis to a stable & morally sensible US government and it’s atrocities in multiple incarnations across history have wrecked havoc...but, I do genuinely hate the idea of society placing extra emphasis on certain roles and for the abundantly wealthy to have exorbitant amounts of money compared to the rest of the populace.

Wish there was a bipartisan answer to most issues, but politics is simply inherently divisive.

Yeah, but it kinda goes both ways in your country (or in any other). Both parties make the other look worse than they really are.

Won’t comment on abortion stances as I’m so far the opposite way it would simply be a clash of values not anything to rly debate. That being said idk the economic climate in Poland but perhaps pro life stances make more sense in countries where that doesn’t immediately f--- over huge amounts of poor people

I don't like aborting someone out of economics reasons. It's such a cop out imho and not being able to live with decisions that you made as an adult. Current government in Poland provided money for any child and there are a lot of social programs associated with that. I personally don't like them since they take more in taxes, because of it than they give for each child. So I feel like here it is especially a cop out. Add to that people earn around 4 times less here than in Western Europe and prices are largely the same, because of being part of EU.

I suppose I disagree w this, that it’s proposed as a moral failing or irresponsibility and that somehow this position is more ethically sound.

There are many economic situations in american (And I imagine global) life where the reality of the situation is that if the “correct” answer is just not f---ing until u can afford a kid, then behaving “correctly” means getting about as much p---- as zeberdee by the time ur 35. Mating and affection are biological needs and any system or policy which demands u reject basic human needs is unjust to some degree.

beyond that, many jobs available to American young adults looking to start families don’t provide stable job security, and the social safety net is too low to reasonably guarantee a child could be provided for off those alone. Here in America we get the worst of both ends, declining wages (going on six decades) high taxes and poor social services despite that. even if u disagree with my first paragraph, the economic realities of the second make that an unrealistic view here in the states

Easy for a Male to be against abortion, when you arnt the one giving birth and having full responsibility for an unwanted child for the rest of your life

High taxes oh boy wait till you come here and see our taxes lol. Then you will reevaluate your opinons. Also if you had your way with your policies taxes would be even higher in your country.

I know it’s not ur intention but I think it is sad to throw so many economically disadvantaged individuals under the bus like that and claim it’s based on some level of mature reasoning. It shows a lack of life experience imo. I know people who had (Usually) stable 6 figure jobs who got laid off roughly a year into his time at the company by which time his wife was at least 4 or 5 months pregnant. Applying for welfare and getting the quickest minimum wage job in the meantime until ur field is hiring again isn’t always a real solution in my personal adult experiences.
