Jan 11, 2019 To me this wasn’t Eminem in his prime.. was disappointed with this CD. Loved his verse on “we’re back” though. You Don’t Know still gets spins in my rotation. Smack that was a song for Akon album I believe and shake that.. pretty sure that wasn’t originated from this album either? I’m pretty sure I didn’t recognize those as new songs when listening to the re-up for the first time. It was a long time ago, hard to remember.
Jan 11, 2019 I remember being dumb as f--- and hearing Bobby Creekwater on the Smack That Remix thinking "this guy's gonna blow up" lmao
Jan 11, 2019 for a mixtape this s--- was dope. Always sounded to me like Em had heard the criticisms of Encore/new stuff from Curtain Call and was trying to step his game up again. Still prefer this version of Em to anything he's put out since tbh. Plus this >>>>>>
Jan 13, 2019 I still hate how short "Trapped" was. Beat was nasty. Em would've spazzed out on it and it should've given us an Em x Proof collab.
Jan 13, 2019 Average album. Em's career was 1999 - 2003. Nothing after comes close to the natural emotion and substance of those first three albums and the 8 Mile album. He should have just headed off to Cuba in 2003 and left his enigma, insightfulness and realness intact.
Jan 13, 2019 GOAT era Everything is Shady still slaps You Don't Know is a b-----r By My Side is great the album that marked the end of the Shady/G-Unit domination, I have an obsession with the late 05-08 era for some reason lol
Jan 13, 2019 It’s a s-----y album but if Em could still flow like this he wouldn’t catch as much hate. His voice is kinda off but he was effortless
Jan 13, 2019 I still skim through a couple of tracks to this day. Would of liked to see a re up 2 before slaughterhouse left. Eminem , 50, slaughterhouse , boogie, Anderson paak, yelawolf... could of been interesting.
Jan 15, 2019 Dope, I actually love the Eminem tracks on this. Yeah there are loads s--- from the forgettable artists, but I actually like the production on this a lot. Cry now remix is dope too
