Looking for Dodge Avengers right now and i'm down to the last two. I have two choices and i think i know which one i want to get but i want other opinions as well.

2014 Dodge Avenger SE, Used 32,000 miles on it, dark blue, for $16k
    - Body is in A1 condition
    -Already has a spoiler
-Only a 4 Cylinder engine and is front wheel drive

    Or

2014 Dodge Avenger, SE, New, Silver, for $22k BUT since it's a 2014 i could probably get it down to $19k
    -Brand new no previous owner
    - No Spoiler
    - Same specs as the Avenger i listed above (for the most part)
    - Wheels: 18" x 7.0" Aluminum

Definitely buy the used one. I bought a new car once, one of the worst decisions I've ever made. It'll depreciate by at least $5k just by driving out of the lot.

Both look meh to me, for that amount of money you're spending I think you can do better.

I dont know chit about American cars but i would get the used one. But you should look into obvious things like has it got full service history? How many owners? rust anywhere? Etc.

One owner, they put 32,000 miles in it in a year, no major repairs, they traded it in to get a 2015 Charger. No rust on the paint, the only thing else i want to do is look at the chassis of the car

Yeah I meant rust under the car/chassis, that's important. If it's motorway miles that's nothing to worry about, sounds okay from the sound of it.
