Oct 19, 2015 So I went on a college trip today to the natural history museum in London and on the everlasting coach journey (cause traffic) I was just looking out the window and for whatever reason, for the first time in my life, I could appreciate not only the beauty of a city and buildings but the beauty of the town I grew up in (London). Always been a nature person and never really appreciated big cities, despite being raised in one. Which do you guys prefer? Not just visually, but also where you would rather spend your time.
Oct 19, 2015 Depends what you want to do. I'm 12 miles from NYC so I can get there easily and I'm only about 30 mins from the woods. Usually do a mix of both during the summer
Oct 20, 2015 it so varies for me, but I like the idea of living in the city and then being able to get away where the wildlife and nature is. they're both visually pleasing to me. i like the creativity surrounding cities and buildings and people. but then I also love the sounds and colors of the wildlife and nature, it's peaceful and you can shut off, reenergize, and feel completely brand new.
Oct 20, 2015 Definitely the country life for me. Every year at least twice i go up north (live in Michigan) and i live the redneck life for weeks at a time and it's glorious. Lake in the back yard. Everything is quiet during the day and night. Can see the stars at night at the bon fire. Sexy country girls. I love the 20 minute drives to the nearest convenience store and there's literally no cars on the road. No police for miles (both good and bad i suppose), every vehicle on the road is a big truck no p---- small cars and no foreign cars. Love it. f--- the suburbs, they're just boring. The city life is ok, definitely better than living in the suburbs, but country life is the life for me
