I tend to agree. Depends on what you like. There's been a fair amount of good games and some to look forward to (RE4 Remake, Dead Space remake, Stalker, Hogwarts Legacy..) but it's not what it was up until the early 2010s.

Games take more time to develop now. Not only because of how massive they are but because of all the bs going on. The passion isn't as present anymore. It's all about figuring out new ways to make money and you can tell by playing a lot of these unfinished games.

This is a good watch. Talks about Halo but it applies to what gaming has become as a whole.

Cod is cancer.

EOMM, SBMM, disbanding lobbies. You no longer play COD. The game plays you. And anyone who has spent a reasonable amount of time playing it will notice it.

Bugs. Little flashy suits and gun packs In a $90 game.

Done with that franchise. I'm boycotting it.

this is probably old news to most of you, but playstation network now lets you see how many hours you've played each game. it also lists how many games you've played. i don't know when they added this feature, but i know it hasn't always been like this.

one of my buddies has somehow already played god of war ragnarok for a whopping 158 hours. and the game hasn't even been out a month yet. if you do the math on that, it'll blow your mind haha

@jankland that's cool man, if you are on the playstation 5 maybe we can play some matches of street fighter 6 whenever it comes out. on second thought, street fighter 6 is gonna be a cross-play game so we should be able to play whether you've got xbox or playstation

i like crash bandicoot as well. it's the type of game that is similar to ratchet and clank. i like those type of games. i didn't know that marvel's spider man 2 was coming out in 2023 so i'm glad you mentioned that. i have the first one and was very impressed with it. i'll definitely get the second one. from what i've heard, marvel's spiderman 2 is only gonna be on playstation 5.

Ratchet and Clank looks amazing, can’t wait to play it. My local Walmart is just now finally getting PS5s in stock so I might finally be able to get one sooner than later.

I’m looking forward to Crash Bandicoot: Wumpa League (that might not end up being the official title but that’s what we know of it right now, we’re thinking it’s announced at The Game Awards on December 8) and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. I’m also curious to see how WWE 2K23 will be as WWE 2K22 was definitely an improvement for the series. The Suicide Squad game intrigues me. Also really getting impatient… I need a new Spyro the Dragon game soon after they remastered the first 3 a few years ago… can’t just tease me like that. Also curious to see how they keep updating MultiVersus. That’s about all the games I can think of right now besides GTA 6 which is at least 2-3 years away

The story is amazing (I haven’t gotten around to finishing it though admittedly). The online is dead though and basically has been from the start… barely ever received updates and just didn’t get the same treatment GTA Online did.

I think the realistic simulation style will definitely roll into GTA 6. After the success of GTA 5 and GTA Online, Rockstar will definitely continue to expand on the elements they think made it successful, part of which is that simulation style. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have to fill up your gas tank in GTA 6… which also gives them more of an opportunity to sell more Shark Cards

if you haven't played many of the games get a playstation plus extra subscription, it has like hundreds of games and some PS5 ones, exclusives like Miles Morales or Ghost of Tsushima (which is crazy good)
