gta 3 the hardest game in the series by far. (memories are a bit fuzzy) but that muther c---- mission chasing down im pretty sure some gook in a boat. i tried everything for f---ing weeks to try beat that fucjen bs. i even used cheatcodes to spawn an rpg and blow the c---- up, but their boat was so fast you eitheir miss the shot or you fail mission for not keeping up with them. storywise i can barely remember 3 and thats partly due to me not playing it in over 14 years (f--- me its been a while) that mission will forever scar me. literally get home.from school to try beat a mission for anout 2 momths beforr i got vice city and said "f--- ya"

the last mission as well, in the d--- while you have all enemies with M16s, you get very limited ammo, and you have a helicopter blasting at you. f--- that game is hard, but I must admit it was kinda ''refreshing'' having such a challenging GTA game, considering Vice City (aside from RC Missions), SA, IV and V aren't hard at all.
And the story in 3 is forgettable as h---. I've played through it multiple times, but the story isn't well told or any good at all. Some great missions, but story is just a simple ''left for dead and it's time to get revenge'' plot.

Favourite Ratchet and Clank game? I probably spent most time playing 3 as a kid, but 1 & 2 were fantastic aswell. Having played through them again last year, I have to say I found the first one the best. Still tear up at that ending when Clank thinks Ratchet is leaving him.

All seriousness though that's awesome man. I never even heard of that tournament during that time. Was there an age limit cause I was 16 or so when Madden 04 came out. You still live in Wisconsin?

i don't still live in wisconsin. but i lived there for about a decade. lived in menomonee falls, milwaukee and some other part that i can't recall right now.

I THINK you had to be at least 18, but its been soooo long i could be mistaken. they've been doing the madden challenge for years. and as time passed, the amount of money you could win grew

i've played madden for years. and during the ps2 era is when i was REALLY into it. that's also when i was at my best. i use to be able to take control of my safety and intercept the ball when someone would throw it deep. when you can MANUALLY take control of your player and bat the ball down or even better, intercept it, it really elevates your game. i'm not good at it anymore, but on ps2 i was great

I don't think i've ever played any game as much as W3, the custom maps and community on that game were like the pinnacle of online gaming. you will never have a game that had a community as large as W3, that carried on for f---ing years.

like f---, the custom maps. uther party, don't be a r-----, dota, footmen frenzy, slide kitty slide, tower defences. f--- man I swear those community made maps shaped a large part of the gaming industry we see today. (especially considering the most played PC game atm on steam is dota 2). You've now even got smaller companies and stuff cropping up and creating fully fleshed out games, based on the W3 custom maps.

    Final fantasy 8
    Tekken 2 & 3
    MK 2
    SF2
    Mario kart
    Super Mario world
    RE 1-3
    Game day 98

Those games give me some of my favorite childhood gaming memories. Playing games like SMW and Mario Kart as a kid were a blast. But it was all the fighting games I would play in 3rd, 4th, 5th and even 6th grade during sleep overs that I remember. Friday nights after school at a friend's house with 3 or 4 of my best friends eating pizza and watching a movie, looking at Playboy's and then beating the s--- out of each other in tekken, street fighter, or mortal Kombat. That was awesome.

Then it was gameday 98 that really got me into football games on PlayStation. That opened me up to what would become my PS2 Madden addiction. And then as I grew older and discovered the RE franchise I began to realize that games were becoming more mature. And it was Final Fantasy 8, for me when I first played a game that blew my mind and left me speechless. That beach scene or the ball room scene, I can remember everything about the first time I played those scenes better than I can remember what I did yesterday.
