    Personally I prefer Revival.

    I still stand by my statement of it's a breath of fresh air that he is showing signs of growing up in his music.

    Yes, it lacks cohesion and the pop features are way too over the top but I get what he was at least trying to achieve. Whereas Encore was just a mess from start to finish.

    Revivals biggest issue is it's promotion.

    Encore for me wasn't necessarily disappointing. More like confusing. You have to understand at the time everything Eminem released was quality and he was just coming out of 8 mile. People screamed it was a fake because it didn't really make sense. At the end of it all it was kind of like, f--- it, the next album will be solid. Then one never came. No one thought we would never get a great album again. The real disappointment started when Relapse was released. It was obvious at that time things had changed.

    Revival Songs I like:
    Believe
    Framed (minus the hook)
    Castle
    Arose
    For a pop song I can tolerate River minus that cringeworthy ex lacks line. Ruins it.

    Encore:
    Never Enough
    Like Toy Soldiers
    Mockingbird
    Spend Some Time
    We As Americans
    Love You More
    Just those last 2 songs off the bonus disc are light years ahead of anything he’s released in years.

    Encore is a bad album which we all can agree on, but like mentioned above he has some what of an excuse. Revival is just garbage.

    LOL how is this even a question. Encore is a good solid album. Revival was a hot steamy pile of s--- Eminem took and sold to us. Easily his worst album by a bullet.

    Revival makes Relapse look like a masterpiece

    Even the s--- songs on encore had great beats...

    Encore is an average album, Revival is one of the greatest atrocities in hip hop history. so Encore.

    Encore and its not even close. Encore has some classic hip hop songs on it atleast. I think encore is an average album, a solid 5 or mAybe a 6. Revival is complete s--- and even its "good" songs arent really worth listening to again.
