Oct 17, 2015 I mean I'm generally into more darker sounding stuff, so personally it took me a bit to come around to College Dropout and Late Registration. On the whole I'd say 808s had the biggest public turnaround and Yeezus is my most consistently enjoyed one of the bunch.
Oct 18, 2015 For me 808's - I was somewhat put off it by the lack of rapping when it first came out, but now a bunch of the songs are amongst my favorite of his.
Oct 18, 2015 808s, when you look everything else in hip hop/pop in 2008, a lot of it sounds a bit dated now, look at any of the timbaland produced hits from back then, or the TI singles, Lil Wayne singles, Young Jeezy singles, not sayin these are all bad, but most of them just sound old now. 808's doesn't sound old though, it could have dropped today and it would sit comfortably well in the Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Travis Scott criteria.
Oct 18, 2015 It's nice seeing so much 808's love here; I'm definitely in a minority in my circle with this opinion
Oct 18, 2015 I'd definitely agree with the 2nd half of 808s aging well. In fact the whole album was fantastic, would be my 2nd choice.
