also, i could name like 35 future songs Yung Lean has NEVER approached the quality off.

March Madness is one of the best tracks of the year, incredibly relevant as well.

incase anyone missed it on the last page:

There you go again saying I said things I didn't say.

You don't have any credibility after saying Lean derived his style from Future... you can't be serious

I don't claim to be an expert either, I'm a casual hip-hop listener. But I think that name is a little silly, none of these lists are worldwide.

Yes they do. He's a storyteller. If you actually appreciate "real hip hop" or whatever you'd actually listen.

Or maybe this is great proof that the problem isn't with the changing landscape of hip hop, but with people who get old, lazy, and straight up idiotic in their search for new music

See the thing is, I never once said I hated, or even didn't like yung lean.

I've been coming from the POV of someone who's indifferent/HAS given Lean a chance (which a lot of people don't)

I've also apparently given the other artists in discussion WAY more listens than you have, which is why I realize Lean is inferior to many of them. Doesn't stop either party from making good music.

But as far as this conversation goes, you've devolved into being a lean stan WAY too quickly.

Nothing lean's made is even remotely close to Beast Mode, Dour Candy, and Pinata.

isn't it funny how so many white rap fans like their "weird" hip-hop to be a photocopy of a fax of a poor translation of the real thing? it's the kids who scoff at soulja but go to yung lean shows, or think that travis scott is an innovator or that mac miller will go down as a legend.

Says the guy who thinks Young Thug is the second coming
Along with PiƱata and boosie and billy woods projects. Get off my d-ck bruh

You don't have to outright say you don't like him its pretty obvious by the way you talk about him.

Oh yeah, you're just so open minded about Lean. You haven't even listened to all of Unknown Memory and I doubt you've listened to his songs multiple times.

You've listened to the artists you posted, more than me... what a shocker. lol

You don't even know when I started listening to Yung Lean to say if I've turned into a "stan" of his too quickly or not.
