Apr 13, 2015 Royce Schoolboy Q Kendrick Joey Badass Banks Eminem Nas (Released one song and album is coming so that is still now?) Lupe Killah Priest (Just see a tracklist for album so i guess hes right now too) Ghostface You can argue that Em fell off or whatever but hes still a good rapper just making shtty music and the OP is about rapping
Apr 13, 2015 I don't like it because it's weird. I like it because its unique, different than the s--- you listen to. What the f--- are you talking about a photocopy of a fax of a poor translation of the real thing? I've never been to a yung lean show. Travis Scott is an innovator and mac will go down as a legend
Apr 13, 2015 So in your delusional mind Lean is a super special person/character/artist, who makes incredibly unique music and noone's ever sounded like him. but young thug is dismissible? are you f---ing kidding me.
Apr 13, 2015 I had young thug on my list. I just don't pretend he's something he's not. Which is a generic trap rapper
Apr 13, 2015 ok I'll pretend that all or nothing, V6 or cold corner 2 are as good as his previous projects.. most people would disagree with you there though. Game has never been a great rapper lol. and YOU CAN'T TELL ME that RED and Jesus Piece and Wolf were anywhere near as good as the documentary or doctors advocate. It's clear as DAY that Game doesn't even know who he is anymore as he imitates a chameleon and pretends to rap like whoever is on the track with him.
Apr 13, 2015 Who else sounds like Lean? I just don't act like young thug is something special. He was on my f---ing list of top ten right now. lol
Apr 13, 2015 Yikes at the sneak diss Bro you coming off as the epitome of a pitchfork writer, the pretentious argumentative blogger with a counter-counter-culture ideaology who assumes he has everything figured out and refuses to entertain a thought that doesn't agree with his own
Apr 13, 2015 he has more range emotionally than lean, about 500x the material, covers a variety of topics, has never once sounded "generic" no matter what type of beat he's on, etc...but to you he's a "generic trap rapper" do you just say things dude? like, i hope it's clear im REALLY trying to understand your thought process for everything you've been saying so far. how the f--- is Yung Lean creative and unique, and Thug, who's voice can span multiple octaves, delivery can go from something like Lean or Future's to Danny Brown or like f---in' Meek Mill, who's never approached a track with a standard flow, etc, "generic" jesus f---ing christ kid, take a seat.
Apr 13, 2015 To be fair, you guys should also stop calling Mac Miller a legend and you know Im in your camp as far as the quality of last 3 projects goes im the sole reason he was on our top 25 albums of the decade list lol
Apr 13, 2015 cept that couldn't be farther from the truth I got so pissed wasting my time with people like you, who in the end prove they'd rather go the victim route than have an intelligent discussion. after all the DIRECT responses Ive given to EVERY point you've brought up...this is the kind of response I get waste of my time...
Apr 13, 2015 RED was underated just a oo many features, Jesus piece only had a few good songs on yeah wasnt that good but OKE was a good mixtape and He has always been a good rapper what you talking about?
Apr 13, 2015 i think that's a pretty easy metaphor to follow the fact that you think young thug is either generic or a trap rapper means you don't know what the f--- you're talking about. i'm sorry, it's just true. i love talking with people who disagree with me--just not people like this guy who is championing yung lean
Apr 13, 2015 lmfao though f--- this kid im done entertaining him >no one's ever sounded like yung lean >young thug is generic Ill give you five billion bucks if you can tell me another rapper who's EVER sounded like Thug on this track you f---ing clown
Apr 13, 2015 ^ btw thats one of my favorite thug spots ever (at least so far in his career) for anyone who hasn't heard it obligatory thanks to @M.I.C. for introducing me a few months ago edit: d--- its on the other page now. here:
Apr 13, 2015 its pretty funny that some of these kids think that about mac miller. it's one thing if you like him, or think he's a great rapper (a stretch) but to say he'll go down as a legend? LOL... Consensus hip hop legends= nas, eminem, jay-z, dr dre, p---- c, 2pac, big, etc. s--- like that. not mac miller, sorry guys.
Apr 13, 2015 @WPG what's a good place to start with lil herb? Is he more of a feature artist or does he shine on solo projects?
