Who did your parents listen to?

    Dad is a heavy Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd etc. usual 'dad-rock' listener. He's starting to like my rap music a fair bit though, loves a bit of wu-tang and old eminem. Also managed to get my old man to enjoy kendrick and pusha t. He reckons both of them are good and requests there songs from time to time. he's like 50 with grey hair, s---'s great. :kanye2:

    Well this thread didn't take too long to derail lol.

    My parents mainly listen to country music or classic rock. Stereotypical middle-aged white family type s---.

    Dad listened to Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Beastie Boys, etc. He got me into rap.
    Mom likes 80s and late 90s country.

    Your dad sounds awesome my dad listens to the local alternative rock station and things like Coldplay and Dave Matthews. Not gonna front though Coldplay made some great songs in their prime.
