    the rest of your post was spot on, but I really have to disagree with this. krit has essentially made the same music for 8+ years--rashad has yet to release his debut. I think it's perfectly understandable to display some of your influences on a demo and isaiah has already shown he's very capable of stepping out from their shadows. honestly I think rashad is too talented of a songwriter (especially in the hook-making department) to make derivative music like krit.
