Jan 15, 2016 I think it's 2Pac. Mainly because it's almost an automatic response for casual listeners to say he's the greatest just because they've heard it before. I'm not questioning his influence but he becomes overrated when such a large number claim he's great without probably ever listening to him properly or ever and just saying it because others who have the same mindset do. It's almost like safety net for them to say him because he's from the 90s or something and they think it makes them look knowledgeable or something.
Jan 16, 2016 Tupac & Biggie. Always.. Always this.. Tupac wasn't even all that great. Greatest joke I ever heard was Tupac slaughtering Nas in a freestyle. I cried for days.
Jan 16, 2016 I just hate the "2Pac and Biggie are the best ever' rap fans. I don't mind if you actually think that it just annoys me when it's said just out of routine. It's said so often it makes me question if those sort of people actually listen to the genre.
Jan 16, 2016 Plus there is a shitload of filler throughout the 'Pac catalogue. A lot of great stuff but a lot of filler. There are catalogues out there with more consistency.
