Feb 4, 2016 I read somewhere that this scene wasn't scripted at all, Will was meant to just brush him off, but his emotions got to him as this related a lot to his own childhood. It's truly a powerful scene.
Feb 4, 2016 That is a total rumor. Will is actually really close to his father. His dad was in the military, but he was active in Will's life. It speaks volumes to his acting abilities. But yeah, I've seen this on the internet a lot, and it's totally not true lol.
