I have to say the end was a little bit of a let down. It was supposed to be till 11pm and 10:55 they left. So everybody screamed we want more and expected them to do an encore. But they didn't.. Stil it was an amazing show and one thing that really satisfied me is that there was a great balance between rap (mike) and rock. Mike did an amazing remix of Castle Of Glass and Numb Encore, as well as some of his other rap songs. They started with Guilty All The Same where Mike did Rakims part, that was amazing. They closed with Bleed it Out, but there were only a few songs they did I didn't like that much, most of them (old and new) were great live. I went there because a friend is a huge LP fan (I am a fan too but he really is a 'stan') and we got it for his birthday, but I'm really glad I went there. They were really good live.

For hip hop would have to be Outkast from the ATLiens to Aquemini and Stankonia era, basically middle school.

This is the song that got me into Eminem. Ever since that, I've been a fan.

Surprised so many people are listing rap, you really started listening to rap music first or just not including other stuff?

For me it was hootie and the blowfish when I was 7 or 8, no doubt shortly after, oasis for a while after that, insane clown posse after that, tupac eventually. I dunno, I've had all kinds of 'phases' I guess. All those were when I was younger, listen to a lot of different artists now and don't really stay too much with one at a time or else I get bored/sick of it fast, gotta mix it up.

Sure I listened to music, but nothing really caught my attention until I heard rap. Dunno what the appeal was. I was exposed to tons of country music growing up. Every day. To and from school. Singing was always boring. Rap was the fun genre of music. I liked learning the words, rapping them back (especially curse words, so rebellious). Rap instrumentals were upbeat and different. I didn't get seriously into music until I got my first CD player in 6th grade, which is the same time I quit watching Nickelodeon and started watching MTV, TRL, etc. Rap was becoming prominent in 2000. It all happened at once.

Imagine me as a suburban 6th grader downloading Jay Z - Izzo on Napster and JAMMING to that song in my parent's computer chair. Little did I know this was my first Ye experience.

I was in the music store, initially looking for a bon jovi album at the age of 6 with my moms, she bought me the bon jovi album but I stole a copy from MMLP and since then I've been listening solely to hiphop. Good times

Eminem around the time MMLP dropped, was 10 or 11 years old when me and one of my friends split our pocket money to buy it at the gas station. could very little english since we had just started learning it in school, so we had to get all the lyrics and translate them. not much later almost our entire class were listening to it, and making their own copies. safe to say our moms weren't thrilled about this guy rapping about killing his wife..

First favorite artist I can remember was back in elementary school. I would listen to the popular radio stuff back then but Either Sugar Ray or Ace of Base were my favorite. Didnt get into rap until around 5th grade when my older brother told me the music i listened to was dumb and he played Dr Dre the chronic and Doggystyle for me. But I think my first favorite rap song was momma said knock you out. I didnt know what rap was when I first heard that song on MTV but I thought it was so cool.
