Sep 19, 2015 Hendrix is pretty polarizing imo, you either love him or you can't stand him. I like his songs more than I like him as an artists if that makes sense. But he runnin off DS2 right now sooo
Sep 19, 2015 has nothing to do with abrasiveness i've simply yet to hear a future song that i find appealing enough to actually sit through. trap music does not sit well with me for a variety of reasons. i actually want to like future, since everyone's always geeking out over him all the time, but i don't
Sep 19, 2015 Fair enough. What projects have you listened to? I used to think I didn't like Future very much as well, which is probably the most regrettable time of my life.
Sep 19, 2015 admittedly, never full projects. certain songs had put me off like that one he did with miley cyrus (I forget the name of it). I wanted to get around to listening to DS2 but I hadn't had a chance to do so yet.
Sep 19, 2015 If you're ready to get thrown in head first, start with Monster. If you want something poppier/more accessible, try Honest.
Sep 19, 2015 Pluto too. Chances are, you've already heard a handful of tracks off of Pluto, you just don't know it @rapmusik
Sep 19, 2015 ik, but it's from the album (i think?) and i don't know what else is so i gave it a spin actually listening to it a second time, and i almost like it. i just don't know if i can ever get fully past the autotuned mumbling sounding delivery/accent and the specific feel trap beats tend to give me. something about them just irks me woooooooooah, def. prefer Honest by a long shot.
Sep 19, 2015 I think Drake's gonna be technically great, but really hollow and will just emulate what Future's doing a la Where Ya At. Which isn't terrible, but it means Future's probably going to set the tone and do all of the innovating yet receive none of the attention.
Sep 19, 2015 I don't disagree with you, but I would be inclined to give Drake just a little more credit. He has made a career out of setting the tone on his collaborations. DnF is a good example. This is a compelling duo.
Sep 19, 2015 btw, it's a little known fact, but that's @BigCountry on the "Big Rube Speaks" skit. also on the pluto intro.
Sep 19, 2015 I'd certainly hope Drake really shows up and brings something great to the project (he's still one of my favorite rappers). I just know Future is on a h--- of a streak at the moment, and going off of Where Ya At and the rest of Drake's recent features it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's a chameleon the whole time.
Sep 19, 2015 I'm not quite sure if it's Future, but Radio 1 would always play a song that had him or at least someone that sounds like him. For the life of me I can't remember the song or the lyrics and it's killing me
Sep 19, 2015 unfortunately I think I'm getting too old for mumbling autotune rappers. give me drake by default.
