Film why are the third movies in a trilogy always considered bad or not as good as the first two?

    its just like when you hear an album the first time.....like wow this is awesome...and then the artist puts out another one....usually your expectations are so high you are disappointed because you wanted it too be better than the first

    Lord of the rings: The Return of the King is probably the best 3rd trilogy movie ever made

    it's not always. the bourne ultimatum is definitely the best bourne film, and most critics think that too
