Dec 16, 2014 "Making the Bad Guy record, I wanted to make sure I made something that ties in with The Marshall Mathers LP. I wanted to make it make sense that if I'm gonna go down this road, I have to be ready for what's about to happen. The way I was thinking when I wrote the song was, what if this nightmare just happened? I decided to do this album and then everything started coming back on me. Matthew came back, Stan's little brother, and he came back to k--- me, just all this s--- started happening. Bad Guy to me is more like an introduction to the album. Like, okay, this is what's about to happen, here it is. And then it picks up from the Criminal skit where The Marshall Mathers LP left off. I don't know if anyone caught that, but that's kind of where the continuation starts, because Criminal left off with that."
Dec 16, 2014 Part 2 is the only reason why the song stands out, if it was just part one it would be forgettable. Why do you think Eminem only performed part 2 live
Dec 16, 2014 he always truncates songs for performances, the whole thing is almost eight minutes long bro. the second verse does stand out as a commentary on his early rhyming and counting style. you keep saying forgettable. not everyone has such a bad memory. he's not ashamed of part one if anything he's saving it for when you listen to the cd
Dec 16, 2014 I dont understand why you feel the need to defend him all the time? This forum is about opinions
Dec 16, 2014 i don't feel like i post more positive opinions than anyone else posts negative ones also eminem deserves someone to defend him if people are misunderstanding things they might benefit from understanding. they did (hopefully) just spend twenty dollars on the record
Dec 16, 2014 Eminem is my favourite rapper but it pisses me off when people make excuses for him making mistakes or doing things wrong
Dec 16, 2014 the amount of people who think eminem is making mistakes, especially now, is such a small percentage of the global population that i don't even feel like i need to further explain why they are so wrong
Dec 16, 2014 i think it's better than any hit song full of triple entendres that any of us could write after our 40th vic of the day
Dec 16, 2014 They really missed a great opportunity to make a video for this . Too late now as MMLP2 is too old. The fat c---- Paul is an idiot.
Dec 16, 2014 something like 99% of people have an iq below 100. it's kinda sad actually i thought the intro they did was pretty good
Dec 16, 2014 It's a f----- up world, the one we're living in Bad Guy best song in the album for sure, easily among his best written songs post hiatus
Dec 16, 2014 the funny thing is, even with most people being idiots, more of them still appreciate eminem's skill than any other male solo artist lel except garth brooks
Dec 16, 2014 Imagine if after bad guy and the skit, he would have stayed on that level and with that mindset he explained in the interview and really created a worthy sequel to mmlp without survival stiw etc.. f--- you marshall
