Jul 10, 2016 I wouldn't call em hipsters but yeah I think white people like me or most of this forum listen to a lot of black trap artists, especially young thug and chief keef. Some people said it's "because they enjoy it" which is kind of a dumb answer. Obviously they enjoy it if they listen to it, but why do they enjoy listening to it? I think it's a reaction to their elitist friends/family/old themselves that only listens to the Beatles, indie music or metal groups. Personally once I got completely out of my "trap is s---" phase I started/start to look out for a lot of "hard trap" artists because it's a new sound/it's the cool thing to listen to/as a reaction to what I used to be
