    There isn't 20 rappers better that drake though, there's 20 trap rappers that trap fans would rather listen to over drake

    What's missing is even the core fans giving him free passes

    You guys led him to believe he was a special singer. He's not. we as a collective let him think lines like "if I left it to chance I'd call myself chance the rapper" were endearing. No we're mad he's exploiting what he assumed where his most positive traits

    His writing isn't THAT far removed from literally anything he's ever done

    Views is good and Drake is still the light skin Keith Sweat but he does sound uninspired. Could be basketball and other ventures of his that are causing his music to stagnate.

    French has a great and underrated discog. Also dropped Wave Gods which is one of the best projects of 2016 so far.

    Fun fact tho I was at a kotd event yesterday (which drake sponsors and s---) and they played nothing off of views in between performances lmao. They played jumpman, 0-100 and know yourself tho

    Double standard. Nowadays casual fans would rather listen to trash as long as it bangs in the car (even if the beat is wack, having basic drums & bass are enough, just look at Compton).
    You would expect them to praise Drake since 40 is a talented producer... I guess drake should use more autotune for s80 to s--- his d-ck.
