Mar 13, 2017 It's not an album. It's a full-blown vibing trip. Fluctuation of emotions, but it's all tied together at the end. The Ride still the best Weeknd and Drake collaboration. Illangelo and Doc McKinney are the G.O.A.T. 6ix Sound producers.
Mar 13, 2017 phew have fun guys debating which albums are classic if u think its a classic its a classic the whole general population doesnt have to agree with u times are different this isnt back in the day times have changed if we really acted like certain albums are classic in rap there wouldnt be many if its too many that come to mind then we gotta redefine the word classic
Mar 13, 2017 How the f--- is "Shot For Me" (The best Abel-written track ever.) not good? Scratch that? How is that not considered candidate for strongest song on the whole album? From a cultural standpoint, that was like social commentary for entities of the opposite gender who are ungrateful, impatient, and skeptical as they come. A public service announcement for those ex-girlfriends who never had faith in men with infinite potential right before they got the chance to maximize it and prove them wrong. Wayne's fave track from the album. My favorite is still Under Ground Kings. We'll Be Fine could have and should have been a single with a video. I'm just saying. And that HYFR FLOW?!?! Still my fave flow from him. Breath control is key.
Mar 13, 2017 what are you considering filler? cause it's easy to pull that card on an album with that many songs but the latter half of take care is a beauty in itself none of the tracks are really stand out tracks like the first half but they all flow soo well together
Mar 13, 2017 It's been on the charts since it's release and has spent 96 weeks there. Take care has been turbently on and off, only have around 200 weeks after 6 years
Mar 13, 2017 More life isn't very promising with his abysmal singles. Snippets seem good minus the Xxtentaction biting one
Mar 13, 2017 Cause he trash. But all jokes aside people say he has one, which is Take Care. Personally I don't f--- with that album besides Crew Love and that's just because The Weeknd (Thank god I found the full solo version of that track) other than that I don't get much enjoyment out of it. Nothing Was The Same though? Yeah that's a Drake album I can get behind and say it has classic potential. If You're Reading This You're Too Late is also a good project, don't know if I'd say it has classic potential, but I like it.
Mar 13, 2017 even if he doesn't have a classic at least he is consistent with dropping dope music unlike some artists that put out barely one classic and gone trash
Mar 13, 2017 From Time such a snoozefest. It's Yourz is cornier with the simp s--- than anything on Take Care. Wu Tang Forever is so blah. The Language is a'ight. Furthest Thing is second-fave, following the song it literally follows on the track list (Tuscan Leather would have been Top 3 on Take Care). Paris Morton Music II has the most off-beat flow pattern I ever heard from anyone. Worst Behavior is huge for him, I guess. But then comes the 3rd verse. Ma$e did it better. Pound Cake beat renegaded both Drake and Jay-Z Connect is another fave, but g.d. it, it takes simp-sulking to the next level. Yet, Take Care is just so hard to get behind because of Make Me Proud, Doing it Wrong, and The Real H.E.R. on an 18-Track album. 3 songs most people can't get behind on an 18-Track Album filled with some of his best work vs. about 7 mediocre ones on a 15-Track album that just gets everyone in a party so lit because it's the most conforming piece of garbage you'll ever hear from anyone. If You're Reading This, It's Too Late is so much better, it's not even funny. Still right below Take Care though. I don't understand. Maybe I need to use more Q-Tips. Or just give them to y'all in B*** sizes. 305 To My City. How could I forget that? Probably Detail's best beat. And Drake's on autopilot worse than Jay-Z was all over BP3 on that track alone.
