Apr 19, 2015 XXL magazine is one of the most respected hip-hop magazines out there, and they rate albums with the unique system of S, M, L, XL, or the coveted XXL rating. Albums that have received this rating include, The College Dropout, The Blueprint, All Eyez On Me, and good kid, m.A.A.d city, by none other than Kendrick Lamar. Here is XXL's review of GKMC: http://www.xxlmag.com/rap-music/reviews/2012/10/kendrick-lamar-good-kid-maad-city/ In my opinion, Kendrick's latest album had even more to offer hip-hop history, and it's 97 (wow) score on Metacritic seems to indicate that most critics agree. And yet XXL has yet to make a review! Here is the link to XXL's reviews page: http://www.xxlmag.com/category/rap-music/reviews/ As you can see, albums that came out before TPAB such as Drake's IYRTITL have received a rating, and so have albums that have come after it, like Wale's, The Album About Nothing. So where is K-Dizzle's 2nd XXL rating? The HiiiPower movement needs to know. Anyone have any ideas?
