May 21, 2015 @Narsh You're saying there arent 100s of people who rap about issues with their family/personal life? not well enough to put out two diamond singles (only artist ever to do so btw) or that there aren't 100s of horrorcore rappers in existence? and I can rhyme better than most of them. little linear narsh looks at his cards and plays his part calls me a sinner for liking marshall yet he always stalls thinking lyrical miracle "art" is hard to impart but he's full of lard and in his eyes are nothing but stars like he's preaching to an audience on mars, do you think this is hard to do? there needs to be substance and a matrix of underlying stories, characters and connections and no one's music has more than marshall's. no one or do you disagree with the part where em's put out more average-bad projects than good-classic? compared to the trash being peddled to the masses today by "artists" outside of interscope, f--- cds... every eminem song is a classic every one of those cds are light years ahead of anything any other rapper put out that year serious question: do you own a dictionary?
May 21, 2015 It's been more than 10 years since a good eminem albuim. I walk through the empty streets trying to think of something else but my path always leads to sliM. i stare at the screen for hours and try to summon the rap gOD. i listen to other caucausuan rappers rapping but it is no good. i flame KanGay in his twitter and try to resist the nazi mods here but it is all meaningless. the ∃nd is near.i then usually watch some old eminem freestyles and cry myself to sleep.
May 21, 2015 If the culture vulture cornball hipster @WPG is a professional writer why does he spend so much time arguing with people on a internet forum about s---?
May 21, 2015 well I'm not a writer, not a genius on the topic, none of that. never claimed to be. I'm stating how I feel. I'm sure "lyrically" isn't the right word to use, but what I meant by that is he is still able to mince words up and make some pretty outstanding multi-syllable rhymes. of course they don't sound as effortless as before, though. I'll wait for the response telling me I'm wrong.
May 21, 2015 it sounds more effortless than ever to me @WPG it means combining real world morals with metaphor, rhyming, creative storytelling and musicality. no rapper does it better and I could name all the musicians in general who you could reasonably argue do it better on one hand (guess which finger I'd use first)
May 21, 2015 Relapse as a whole is average. I cant sit through it front to back. The accent is horrendous at times, tolerable at others. Never once a positive. Content for tracks like Bagpipes from Baghdad or We Made You is abysmal. Deja Vu is top 10 Em songs ever, and a few others like My mom are great. Overall, its an average album riddled with weird artistic choices that aren't used for any discernible reason. BME is forgettable throwaways
May 21, 2015 I'm not sure that makes sense, maybe something is lost in translation pls check with your supervisor
