Aug 6, 2016 prhyme is a classic, I wouldn't be mad if people were calling it the best album of the year of its release.
Aug 6, 2016 Vince would call you a nerd for saying this. Don't box Vince into these s-----y labels of 'conscious' and 'lyrical'.
Aug 7, 2016 I'm what you might consider a traditional hip-hop fan and I do consider Prhyme to be AOTY 2014. However, when I was a teenager, the most high profile guest you could have on one of your songs would just scream "yeah" and "okay" over the chorus. In my middle school years, rappers tried their best to fit in with nu metal. Traditional hip-hop has survived all of that so I can't buy the idea that this new wave is ruining it, nor can I believe that it no longer has a place. Just listen to what you enjoy. You don't need anyone's approval.
Aug 7, 2016 Lol stfu. I didn't put a label on him. I didn't say he was a lyrical rapper, i said he can be lyrical
Aug 7, 2016 Lol Theg don't do it man. I didn't meant to put a label on him, but I thought him posting a tweet about not liking those words while his lyrics can be very thought out is kind of ironic
Aug 7, 2016 Vince isn't denying that his own lyrics are thought out, he's just intelligent enough to realize that's not the only metric of a good rapper. No irony there.
Aug 8, 2016 Would you call Pharoahe Monch-Desire 'Conscious & Lyrical' rap ? I found and on old burnt cd of that a few months ago and have been bumping it non stop ever since, an absolute classic imo. I forgot how good this album and Pharoahe really are.
Aug 11, 2016 I wanna listen to music about partying in nightclubs, consuming alcohol, spending time with promiscuous women, driving high-end vehicles, and shooting guns. I don't wanna hear about how blacks are oppressed in America and song telling women to be well-behaved, f--- that s--- brah.
Aug 11, 2016 Why is it cool 2 hate on anything lol they simply don't like it more people hate on trap rappers weird thread
