in response tho that, future, thug and a few other rappers nowadays are harder to understand, and i could see that being a barrier for other countries to accept

lets just use kanye for example, everyone can understand him so it's okay

for a UK rapper to be big in america, would he need to tone down the accent and slang?

when people say like "rap culture" what do they mean exactly?
like is it, the upbringing of it? is it the "dont sell drugs instead rap and make it out!" is it the "i come from a life of miss fortune and unfair treatment"? or is it some race related thing?
genuinely curious, because like "American rap culture" (imo) really isn't that different to say Aus/UK the only difference is that white rappers in Aus/UK are far more common. but as far as content goes it's very similar (in a broad kind of sense)

those rappers are only hard for you to understand because you don't smoke weed, pop pingas and sink lean with the boys. they aren't even accents, they are people speaking while high on drugs.

like someone can rap their whole life and build up their skills as a rapper

but the fact they have an english sounding voice makes them totally irrelevant
