Religion or not, majority of us have been in situations that the worst possible thing has shown us to change.. not as huge as death but something simple as, "jeez my stomach hurts.. should of cooked it correctly" stupid example but there..

Yeah i can't decipher this at all, but from the bible, god has a reason for his decisions.

Disclaimer: not a diehard christian, just presenting the mindset of others

@Perfectbuu yeah but what is the explanation of innocent people getting murdered by monsters? Like actual monsters.. manchester, syria, london, paris etc etc.

Religion causes so much pain its terrible.

And yeah different gods but still the stories also differ.. what is right?

I know muslim people that are also very upset with what is happening @Coco the Vageater but I kinda get that some people are getting scared of them (even if its not completely fair)

Actually a lot of religious stories are very similar, which is one of the reasons I'm not religious

    I f--- with Cyreides wym?

@Michael Myers I honestly can't think of a better example than "there's a better place for them" religion is such a skewed concept to be honest. Religious is devoting your life to your religion and strictly following the ten commendments

yeah but that's just reason, i don't need a god to realize i'm doing a mistake. if "god" does take action, then there's no reason for something that is all powerful to cause me harm in order to make me understand something.
If he wants me to understand there's a problem by myself, then he shouldn't do anything, if he wants to help me understand it, then why would he cause me harm in order to do so? That's either a god with limited powers, or a cruel god..

In that case I'm not. I try to live by the standards and be a good person but I don't devote my life to a church or anything.

Oh yeah I don't follow a religion because they're almost all strict and for the most part immoral and illogical imo

yeah i fully understand what you are saying, but its just... its dumb. what doesnt k--- you - males you stronger and thats due to evolution.

what is gods purpose/lesson , for example, to the PTSD suffering Chiraqanese? are they supposed to experience death, murder, gun related violence and g--- mentallity regularly so they will be prime candidates for the US military? so they can then be deployed to fight in a US manufactured proxy war?

what about sliverfish, that swim up your urethra and then s---t spines up and down meaning it has to be surgically removed by doctors? whats his life lesson in that? wear a condomn when you enter the water?

Most of them are very closed minded and think the outside world is evil. Many isolate their children from real world issues and set a time limit for playtime, tv + internet, praying, bible study. No room for freedom.

This in return creates rebellious children who want to break free of those chains. A common thing people say is "church girls are the freakiest"

    Bottom line

If someone was in charge.. why do so many bad things happen to good people? And why do thugs and criminals get away with bad things?
