Jul 25, 2016 Lol, he's doing alright. Just lives an alternative lifestyle to fund his writing. He's not meant for a conventional job.
Jul 25, 2016 Perry and I talk...that's what we both have a sentient eggplant's political opinions Also the f---ing nerve of someone saying I "exposed" them by linking to things he's written publicly after he posted pictures of my girlfriend. He's a coward who can't even stand by his work.
Jul 25, 2016 This strains credibility soo bad. I feel like I've sprained something. What do you think this is, Spencer? Do you think keeping up this charade is going to persuade anyone? Now you're just insulting me. I don't appreciate it. You *haven't* proved anything. that's why i'm asking for anything concrete that demonstrates you are -- truly -- the "roommate" of @Perry The Platypus... who happens to post like this, share his views, and hate the same canadian-turned-rap blogger-turned-freelance journalist. weird PMs to koolo dont count lol
Jul 25, 2016 I liked @Perry The Platypus, I used to root for him when he'd take @WPG to task. It was healthy, and entertaining. But this is just weak...
Jul 25, 2016 also it makes sense that prhyme likes royce da 59 because perry also seemed to like s-----y rappers like saigon as well
Jul 25, 2016 This is part of the problem imo: identity politics contaminating everything. I am radically to the left on a variety of domestic issues, but I'm gonna vote for Clinton because, for national elections, I'm a pragmatist.
Jul 25, 2016 There cannot be two people in Canada who are both so powerfully stupid/stubborn/obsessed with me
Jul 25, 2016 His 2015 posts reveal two things: 1. he does refer to perry as if they're separate people 2. he also defends perry against the likes of @ImmortalTechnique in political discussions but then, of course, he conveniently reappears days after you "ran" perry off in may. practically a year after his last post. again: i liked perry, and he didn't deserve to feel threatened here. by anyone. but this is beyond the pale
Jul 25, 2016 I've got to disagree with that. almost completely. if you were a true progressive, you would have voted for Bernie over the neo conservative Hillary. Bernie is the one with a consistent liberal record. The one who was pushing for gay/LGBT rights before it was practically even a thing.. I think in a general election, Bernie would have been a stronger candidate vs Trump and he would absolutely knock his head off in the debates with logic & substance. Instead, now we seem to have a close race that could go either way. I wish the democratic party was actually liberal.
Jul 25, 2016 "See IMO identity politics are bad, because it doesn't leave room for people to vote slightly off their ideological base for pragmatic reasons" "If you were a true progressive......."
Jul 25, 2016 Tbf my dragging Perry was retaliatory, and while I respect his right not to have his real name on the forum, I do think it's cowardly not to defend the brash neocon op-eds you write lol
Jul 25, 2016 I mean, you can call it what you want, but yeah if you are a liberal/progressive/leftist you would have voted for the most liberal candidate and that was Bernard. I think voting based off of principle is better than just being pragmatic and voting for a candidate that you think might be more "experienced" or "better at getting things done." Hillary calls herself liberal, but shes actually not. I think bernard would be more successful in working with the republicans than hillary will be. He also has a record of bipartisanship. Hillary will get obstructed by congress just as badly as Obama, if not worse.
Jul 25, 2016 shes certainly not liberal.. supported TPP, NAFTA, interventionist policies, she even says that she pleads guilty to being a moderate.. She had a number of conservative positions that she flipped on.. shes supported fiscally conservative ideas in the past
Jul 25, 2016 Literally the only thing that I've been attempting to imply this whole thread is that I personally find the situation distasteful. I think both parties are awful. Who I'd vote does not matter anyway considering I don't even live there.
Jul 25, 2016 Your whole argument was just silly, and not needed though. I think you should scale back from discussing American domestic issues.
Jul 25, 2016 My "whole argument" was saying that this is a bad thing and tinfoil hat jokes. I remained skeptic about the Russian governent implication, WikiLeaks, how it could push Trump's campaign, some of the rumors behind it, etc. What was the discussion here anyway? Debating whether a media outlet that has interviewed Sanders before and turned a blind eye to this situation is biased or not towards Clinton? How this was just a "this is a bad thing, but there it has been worse! Plus Trump will trigger world war 3!!!" argument? I respect your work, so I'd highly appreciate if you could explain it to me.
Jul 25, 2016 Yes, because WikiLeaks has not published concise information of their sources and they are straight up mocking this hypothesis on their social media platforms. As far as I know, the only theory that has been proven of being true is that the hackers are indeed Russian, but it's a touchy subject and I don't like jumping to conclusions. It's perfectly valid though.
